As promised, I vowed to post pictures from my fabulous birthday this year… first, the cake above was a special treat my Mom picked up at a speciality bake store in Murfreesboro called
Julia’s Homestyle Bakery and was sweet enough to bring it to my work on my birthday — her and Jeff took me out to a special birthday lunch at
The Black Eyed Pea in Hendersonville, which is one of my favorite places for southern cooking (P.S. get the pot roast sliders, they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!)
That night, Meg had planned a shindig downtown with friends. We wined and dined through our dinner at Urban Flatts and then continued the celebration at The Red Door, our favorite midtown bar. We had a fantastic time and I felt so special that so many of my close friends would come to celebrate with me — thanks so much everyone for a fun night out on the town!!
