I’ve always wanted to be one of those people who pick out the non-fiction books at Barnes and Noble, but it seems like every time I go to choose a new monthly read,
I head straight to the “girly” fiction section, and select another one of the infamous twenty-something hopeless romantic lovey dovey humorous reads… case in point — “Love the One You’re With” by one of my favorite authors Emily Giffin. Trust me, if you’re at the beach (like I was for this one), it’s a juicy story that follows a couple going through tumultuous times in their marriage, dealing with family, friends, and career. It’s a very easy read and one that you’ll keep turning the pages until you finish because you
just have to know what path she chooses. I promise
it won’t disappoint.
And then in more girly news, last Sunday a bunch of us gathered for couples’ date night and took our boys to see their favorite type of movie, a chick flick (haha!) “The Ugly Truth”… contrary to popular belief, even the guys enjoyed the movie and we all laughed a lot, too!! What’s even funnier is that our group of 8 took up the entire row and you could hear all of us munching on our chocolate and candy, too– I don’t think our neighboring moviegoers enjoyed us too much, but we had a great night. This movie is great for date nights when you’re looking to laugh and go with someone you love… ENJOY!!!
hopped on over to visit from miss jenn wade's blog. i love all of emily giffin's books! i can't wait for a new one!
