Last night while perusing the TV, I came across a recent rerun of the Bravo show Master Chef– the challenge for the contestants was to think about something within their life they consider to be their vice… a few chose alcohol, some chose sweets, you get the idea… which made me start thinking- what exactly is my vice? Ahhh, it didn’t take long to figure that one out:
S H O P P I N G…yes I am admitting I have a problem (that’s the first step, right??), but to help my case out, I do shop the sales and I am very frugal when it comes to my habits! To make matters worse, I receive emails daily from a variety of websites telling me all about their end of season sales, holiday specials, etc. (probably not the best idea) but at least I am using their discounts and taking advantage… here are a few going on right now I think you should know about just in case you need to indulge and splurge a bit =)
1. JCrew– end of summer sale going on right now online… and take an extra 20% off at checkout, too! (that is if you can find your size in anything– that is my ONE complaint about them; it seems like everytime I decide to buy something, I get ready to checkout and it pops up “sorry, the item you requested is no longer available” GRRRRRR)
2. Dillards– I bought this dress for $38 marked down from $128– talk about a steal!! Yes they have some great deals right now and you need to take advantage
3. Victoria’s Secret– what better time to stock up on your swimsuits for next year when they are marked down 50-70%… check out the shoes and watch out for free shipping, too!
4. Ann Taylor Loft– end of season sale…cute stuff for wear to work and I love their dresses!
5. Francesca’s Collections– all outerwear is 30% off!! fall is right around the corner and their coats are adorable AND affordable
