No one did… as much as I hate that song, I was so happy this past weekend when my beloved VOLS not only whipped up on the ‘Dawgs, we destroyed them. GA fans bark at you when you lose, and they’re mean {let me rephrase that, some of them are mean} but when they visited Knoxville last Saturday, our boys were out for blood after losing to both Florida and Auburn, and we needed a big SEC win… even better, we finally got it!
We headed to Knoxville Friday afternoon, and arrived just in time to meet all of our friends at the Civic Coliseum for the Zac Brown Band concert. {you know, the Toes in the Sand–Chicken Fried band!} I think we danced and took pictures more than we listened to them play, but a good time was had by all. Afterwards, we headed to Cool Beans {one of our favorite college hang outs} and took the youngsters by storm. Even now as I am older, I love the fact that everyone I went to school with comes back in town for games and attempts to act like we’re still in college.

Saturday we got up bright and early and headed to taiglate a little before the early game. Jeff’s boss, Tom, and his wife Julie came in town for the game, too and were happy to surprise us with some amazing seats for the game… 50 yard line, 20th row– thanks to them for such a great time at the game!! Couldn’t have been better!!

After the game, we met the rest of our crew at Barley’s in the Old City for pizza, beer, and even more football. Although us girls got bored with the FL/LSU game, so we decided to have a dance party with the band instead– so much fun until we all decided we are old and went home early =) What a great weekend!!
