What a week this is turning into, and it’s only Wednesday- yikes! On the other hand, I do better under pressure {yes that makes me weird, right??} and it’s exciting because so much fun and exciting things are coming up!
In better late than never fashion, last night we all got together to celebrate my friend Rachel’s 25th birthday… a QUARTER of a century in the making, she has become a dear friend of mine in the past 2 years since her and Meg worked together. We love the Grays, even though they’re Auburn Tigers-haha! She is such a doll and her and her hubby Ryan are so much fun to be around– Happy Birthday Rachel–cheers to many more!!
In other news {which I am UBER excited about}, I am doing my first non-referral/non-friend calligraphy order this weekend! I’ve been in talks with Mindy for the past few weeks and her envelopes will be arriving at my door tonight–200 invitations to get done by next week, so I may be blogging a little less, though I am very excited and can’t wait to show off the finished product!
I’m busy working on my Etsy shop, calling cards, and other items which is taking a LONG time, but I know it will all be worth it, and even better–I’m getting to do something I really enjoy on the side. Thanks for all your support and encouraging words, too!
And finally, I saved the best for last… the local meterologists are calling for a WINTER STORM tonight/tomorrow morning… it has been in the teens this week and I am so over my car constantly being cold!! I’m hoping work has to be cancelled so I can go sledding all day like a kid again! Cross your fingers that we actually get snow instead of a “dusting” as they like to call it so we can snuggle on the couch, drink hot cocoa, and watch endless hours of meaningless daytime television–oh how nice that would be!!
Congrats on the job! I am not looking forward to this winter storm. Our work snow plan is to come to work. Yuck!!!
Wow!
Natasha that is great about the calligraphy order!
One of my BF's in Birmingham does calligraphy…and it is amazing! She was honored to do some work for the White House recently!
That will be a great business for Etsy!
