Yes, another check on my handy dandy list… The Knot isn’t going to know what to do keeping up with me and my wedding planning fever!
After interviewing some of Nashville’s finest wedding planners {and thanks to all my friends who helped me with recommendations and referrals}, my Mom and I instantly clicked with Mary Alice of “A Delightful Day” and asked her to work with us for my big day next June.
As soon as we left her office, I knew she was the one–everyone told me I would just know when I did, and I am so happy with my decision–she is bubbly, upbeat, extremely detail-oriented, and very knowledgeable in everything weddings… not to mention, she has quite the list of happy brides that have only great things to say about her wedding planning services.
She is going to be my right-hand woman {in addition to my Mom of course} throughout this entire experience, and I can’t wait to get started working with Mary Alice and all her talented staff!!

what an exciting time! I wish I could go back and do it all over again {well maybe not, minus the stress} but it does fly by fast!
I didn't have an official planner, but the plantation home I was married in came with a coordinator who took care of almost all of the details. I don't remember stressing out once! That's so great that you won't have to either!
Oh my goodness what a SMALL WORLD! that is really unbelievable. First off, I rarely.. well, lets just say, NEVER run into a "Stoneking" that isn't family (minus the random people on facebook that search for every Stoneking out there and add them), and how ironic that I would comment on your blog! All the credit cards you change.. any time you book an appointment.. go to a restaurant.. you name it.. I always thought it was pretty simple, you know "stone" and "king".. but I guess it's not.
Good luck with the planning! If you're like me, you will be so ready for it to be OVER by June–even though I would do it all over again!

Congrats on finding a planner that you love! I'm a wedding planner and I absolutley love it! There is nothing more rewarding then seeing brides happy on the day they have dreamt about there whole life.
