This weekend I was finally able to get my fair share of girl time!!! And dont worry, Jeff was “busy” watching the Masters with the boys all weekend so he didn’t mind losing me at all =)
Friday night, we hung out at Meg’s place and ate pizza, drank wine, and gave ourselves mani/pedis and just talked… so much fun!
Saturday morning, I got up early at the butt crack of dawn to get my 6 miles in and then got ready for Meg’s Nashville Bridal Shower… such a blessed day with wonderful women!

That afternoon, I headed to my Aunt’s house for a birthday party celebration and then met up with the girls for ladie’s night dinner at my favorite locale, Taco Mamacita… the wait of 1 hour was OK though, because we got to indulge in Skinny Margaritas–yummy!!!
Sunday, we spent ALL day working on the yard… yes, you can call me ‘Little Ms. Green Thumb’… who knew yard work could actually be fun??? So rewarding in the end though–here is my boy at Home Depot where we bought azalea bushes, petunias, and new shrubs for around the mailbox–we also got my favorite–FERNS!
To reward ourselves, we cooked out and invited my parents over for dinner, which didn’t take too much convincing… then we ventured to Sweet CeCe’s yogurt for a yummy after-dinner treat–the perfect end to a wonderful weekend!!!
We planted yesterday too! We put out yellow and orange marigolds and mixed color gerber daisies.
Cute pictures! Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!
