Another one Bites the Dust…
Yes, I am still on a roll–tackling my never-ending wedding to do list one item at a time! This week is a B-I-G one as we just booked our band!! I swear, I have been looking at bands online for a LONG time in addition to asking friends, collegues, and anyone that would listen (thank you Chris and Adrienne!!) for recommendations on fun wedding bands trying to find the perfect sound for our celebration.
This is an area I knew Jeff would be perfect at…granted, he loves helping with the wedding plans, but he gets really enthused when he can get involved and play “Let’s Make a Deal!” since he works in sales. He did a fantastic job–after complaining moaning and groaning about the intricately detailed list I gave him of bands–and we booked our band this afternoon…Yay!!
They are one of Nashville’s most popular bands and play anything and everything under the sun… Motown/R&B/Pop/Rock and even a little Country, too! I think they are going to be great and I know we’ll have a nonstop dance party all night long!!
Awww, congrats!! That is great. A band is awesome. We decided on our band a few months ago and I can't wait to hear them. I think it adds this great atmosphere to a wedding. its going to be great!!
SUCH an important part of your wedding! We decided to spend a big chunk of our budget on the band (since the band we selected is also George & Laura Bush's favorite, playing 2x at the White House during their term),BUT it paid off. People were on the dance floor the entire night and couldn't say enough about how much fun they had! Glad you have this checked off the list! A band is a great addition to what appears will be a fabulous wedding.
