I’ll admit it, I have been a slacker lately with my Top 2 Tuesday and Wishful Wednesday posts… so much going on, but I am finally coming up for air and I promise to not ignore my wonderful blogging friends–hold me to this please! Taylor came up with another fun topic this week, and since we are now homeowners with lots of interesting things going on–flooded downstairs, currently getting our fence put in, etc, I think I’l take a step back and ponder this one:
Top 2… Dream Homes
Basically, my dream home is a classic southern plantation home, complete with all the bells and whistles of a designer’s home–I’m not sure there is “one” single home that encompasses everything I want when we build our next home {yes, we will build the next one}, but here are some of my must-haves…
A BIG Front Porch Complete with Rocking Chairs and a Swing
A Formal Living Room for Tea {or cocktails!} with my Friends
A Relaxing Family Room with Lots of Light and a Working Fireplace!
A Clean and Simple White Kitchen with Loads of Storage and Shelving for Display
Either of these will do =)
A Relaxing Retreat of a Master Bedroom to Escape
With a Seating Area for Reading and Enjoying my Morning Coffee
Cozy Guest Rooms to Make my Friends and Family feel like they are on Vacation
And of course, a Beautifully Landscaped Backyard Ccomplete with Pool Oasis
Remember, it’s nice to be able to dream, right??? I know this doesn’t technically complete “two” homes, but since I am dream-building what I want, I only need one…Guess I better get back to work now so I can make this happen!! =) Happy Tuesday

I love those kitchens! I think white kitchens have a great open southern quality to them.
