I’m back!!! This week, I am in the searches for engagement picture/photoshoot inspiration. Jeff and I met with our incredible photogs
{Chris and Adrienne} a few months ago over dinner to strategically plot our engagement session and what we want to do to set the tone for our wedding.
Though we have yet to decide on an actual date and “theme” for the shoot, we all threw out ideas for what we were thinking and I am really excited to see how everything turns out… I know, I am teasing you and no I won’t be giving any details of this away–not even the best friends know this classified info =)
For now, I am on the hunt for the perfect outfits to complement the look we’re going for. My Mom and I have already bought 2 dresses that will be used for the shoot and I am on the prowl for any other to-die-for outfit I just have to try… I know, more teasers.
Here are just some of my favorite engagement sessions I have found online:
Did you have an engagement session “theme”? What did you wear? Did you use any props?? It’s so fun to see how each and every one of you make your engagement pictures special–I love it!!
I LOVE engagment pictures! We took our engagement pictures in Grand Teton National Park just outside of Jackson Hole (where we got married). We thought about doing them in our hometown, but decided we just couldn't pass up green fields, mountain peaks and rustic barns in the background. Here's the link to our engagmenet pictures, if you want to check them out:

Engagement sessions are SO fun! I can't wait to see yours!
We just got our pics back and loved how they turned out. Our theme was the beach, just very casual like just another day at the beach for us… we brought beach cruisers, acoustic guitar, and surfboards for props. We had to take two cards out to the beach but it was worth it đ
Have fun styling for your shoot!
xo
I love these poses!! I hated our pictures. It was a 30 degree day in January when we did the pictures. I'd like to have some redone. I can't wait to see your pictures and what you wear.
^cars! haha
These are gorgeous pictures, a great source of inspiration! I am sure your pictures will look great, just find a place that you both hold dear and I'm sure everything will look just perfect!
gorgeous pics! i would so somthing flowy and romantic!
Ahh engagement pictures are so exciting! We did our first session at Opryland hotel this winter! It was fun but I really wanted pretty outdoorsy pictures that reflected us! I have always heard to do a casual outfit more dressy outfit and then something fun! You really want to show your personality. We are doing another session next week downtown Nashville to show "us" and where we are from! Best of luck to you. I LOVE your blog! So cute
I'm a photographer in GA and if your photographer is like me, I love when clients actually take the time to dress up and bring props like balloons! I like to recommend this site to my clients bc I LOVE the custom parasols for photos!!

We're doing our engagement session next weekend at a baseball stadium. I'm hoping for nice weather…but I have no clue what to wear. Eeekkksss…I'm sure it will all work out. But your favorite engagement shots def provided me with some ideas. Thanks lovey!!
