We left Friday after we all got off work and of course had to hit 3 different rounds of traffic–don’t worry, we managed to sneak-in a healthy dinner at Sonic along the way =)
Needless to say, we were exhausted by the time we got to the Grunke’s house so we had hotty toddies and then headed straight to bed!
Saturday morning, we were greeted with a homemade breakfast–yummy!!–and then headed out on the town to do some shopping and relax a bit. We headed to Ikea and scored more fun goodies and then spent the afternoon taking it easy before the party.
After a fantastic party complete with not 1 but 2 cakes, we headed to Aaron’s best friend’s Jen and Will’s house… since we were sooo tired from a lot of entertaining and mingling, we decided to take it easy and watched East Bound and Down–the funniest show EVER, but let me warn you, it’s vulgar and crude–hilarious though if you’re looking for a good laugh!
Sunday morning, we headed back to the Grunke’s and ate the most WONDERFUL brunch–oh Ginger outdid herself again. She made this Southern Egg Casserole for which I MUST find the recipe… we then said our goodbyes to everyone, and headed to the North Georgia Premium Outlets to see if we could do any damage–haha!
I finally found some fun bright yellow outdoor pillows to go on our side porch–thank you Pottery Barn outlet–and found the CUTEST orange skirt at the BCBG store…yes, it’s only June and I am shopping for outfits for UT football games this fall–I am telling you: you cannot find orange in the fall =)
every room from the PB catalog đ
Love the North GA Premium Outlets, they have seen lots of my money over the years! haha! Glad you had a great weekend and found a cute skirt and some pillows đ
I feel your tired pain! I was in a wedding on Friday and attended another wedding 4 hours away on Saturday. Just got home last night at 7 and I'm in the office this morning. Oye!
Charlotte?? I'm in Charlotte! Hope you enjoy our city this weekend! đ
Looks like fun, you two make such a cute couple!

I know what you mean about shopping for orange – except we shop for a little different shade of orange;)
Love the pics!!Thanks for sharing!
The bed is gorgeous!
Sounds like y'all had a great weekend! Those Dawsonville outlets can be dangerous, hehe. I am starting to stock up on orange too… it is impossible to find during football season!
Sounds like a lovely weekend. And that bed for your guest room…PERFECT. I wouldn't mind an invite;)
Hope you have a fabulous week
xoxo

Enjoy your week.

The pictures look great!!!
Me and my fiance are in Knoxville several times a year for UT football in the fall – he's from K'ville and a UT alumni and huge fan, and I just go for all the fun đ
And yes, it's never too early to look for orange! I tend to all year, considering it's so difficult to find a lot of really cute orange attire! đ
