You heard it correctly people—it’s FINALLY fall! Summer used to be my favorite season, however, after the monstrous summer filled with nonstop heat and humidity, I have decided I am so appreciative of everything that fall has to offer…
1. Football—as if you didn’t know where my heart truly is… it belongs in Knoxville, TN with those boys in orange and white. This season, no doubt, will be a season of rebuilding, but we have thousands of fans ready to see our team go to work and make us proud. Jeff and I are heading up to stay with The Millers this weekend and start our tailgating season off right with fun and friends… CANNOT WAIT!!! Football also means fun Saturday parties with friends in front of the big screen screaming for our teams and grilling out—nothing makes me happier!

2. Fall Décor—yes, I have already started purchasing pieces for our house for fall… I got a cute pumpkin for our front door, a pewter pumpkin bowl for our trick-or-treaters, a gourd and candle centerpiece for our coffee table, as well as some painted blocks that say BOO for our mantle—you know you’re getting old when you enjoy this stuff, right?? Other goodies I have my eyes on:
3. Scarves—my endless collection {I counted when I was spring cleaning this year and I have 47 scarves-pathetic I know!}, will be making their debut soon. Since I am one that tends to change temperature quite frequently and bounces from hot to cold, I wear these all the time… 1) to accessorize an outfit, and 2) to keep me toasty during those chilly mornings and evenings.
4. The Holidays—you guessed it! With the fall months comes Halloween AND Thanksgiving… oh that makes me hungry just thinking of how much my waistline will undoubtedly expand… home cooked meals and all the wonderful southern comfort food—sign me up!

Fall decor is my favorite! I can't wait to get it out. Now, if only the temps would agree with me.
Hands down, fall is the best. I think that the season in general has this cool, brisk smell about it that just makes me happy. I love going apple/pumpkin picking. I love how the leaves all change(not so much a fan of them falling), I love sweaters and boots. I love it all!!!

Where are the silver pumpkins from at the top of the post? I must have them!! I was soo tempted to buy all of the fall decor at Target last week.. Now that it is officially Sept. I just might have to give in! Fall is my favorite time as well!!
