Forgive me if I ramble too much today, as I am doped up on high amounts of caffeine this AM from my new seasonal indulgence… upon our trip to Kroger yesterday, we stumbled across Peppermint Mocha Coffeemate–add that to my cart and now all I can seem to think about is anything with peppermint–ahhh yummy goodness!!
So, was your weekend as wonderful as mine was?? Bragging I guess, but these weekends are few and far between when we actually get to enjoy ourselves in Nashville with no “set agenda” and we most certainly took advantage.
Friday night, Jeff treated me to sushi at our fav place Virago… 3 rolls and a ton of edamamme later, we rolled ourselves home to take it easy. We jumped out of bed bright and early Saturday morning to meet my parents at the Bell Buckle craft fair and boy did we have fun! Not only did we get to enjoy time with Dan and Tina, but as soon as we got there, my grandparents met up with all of us and we were off. It’s VERY rare I get to have my parents AND grandparents all to myself so I definitely took advantage… a few pics for your enjoyment:
Gran, Mom, and Me–Happy Girls
Jeff, Dad, and Papa–my 3 favorite guys!
Look at all those people!

After all was said and done, I managed to come home with 2 handknitted scarves, a few dip mixes for the holidays, and banana nut bread/apple fried pies…. yummy!!! After leaving Bell Buckle, we drove to downtown Franklin so Mom and I could continue taking in the gorgeous fall weather browsing through my fav shops while the boys took in some SEC football and beer at Mellow Mushroom. We met back for pizza and then headed home to rent a movie… FYI: if you are thinking about watching Letters to Juliet, PLEASE refrain! I’ll rank this a C- in my book… SO cheesy, and Jeff has now revoked my movie-picking priviledges because I made him watch this–oops!
Sunday morning, we headed to church, grabbed a quick bite for lunch, and then focused on everything for the house… picked out a beautiful color to paint the kitchen, found the perfect backsplash, and then stumbled across the Friends and Family Sale at Pottery Barn {thanks Mom/Dad for the hint!}. We managed to find some WONDERFUL pieces and I can’t wait to show you! The rest of our night was spent grilling out, watching our shows, and then getting ready for the work week! Happy and wonderfully relaxing weekend… hope yours was great, too!

Peppermint Mocha Coffe-Mate is my all time favorite and every year I stock up! They said it was now able to be enjoyed all year round, because it became so popular, but it appears to only be in certain states…LOVE it!!!
Great pictures of what looks like a really fun time, and it sounds like you found some goodies!
