Are you like me and find that the “transition” periods between seasons can be a bit tricky?? Living in the south, you’ll have a mild-spring like day and the next you’re putting on your boots to venture out in the snow {and yes, that is what I am doing yet again today–more snow in Nashville which means work-from-home-in-the-pajamas-day for this lady}… who knows what hand we’ll be dealt next I tell you.
With that in mind, I wanted to share some looks I found recently that are great for layering, and great as we move towards the months where the days get longer and the hemlines get shorter… can you tell I am getting a bit ancy for spring to come around again??

I am so thankful today is Friday!! Weekends are usually consumed with so many errands that I am excited to kinda play it by ear this weekend and do things on my schedule–woo hoo! Flower girl dress shopping, spending time on the couch, shopping/play date with Mom, spending a bit of time on calligraphy, and then anticipating someone’s homecoming–ahhh exciting things I tell you. Who knows what else this girl is going to get into, but I am sure I’ll manage somehow… đ
I tried on the Ann Taylor skirt bc its beautiful, but it didn't fit right in the hips. I'm loving their tops though!
