I thought it would be fun to combine two separate posts into one grand {and hoepfully not too long winded} post for hump day this week… Are you sick of reading Wedding Wednesday posts yet? I really don’t know what I will do with myself once I’m married and wedding planning is done… oh lord, by that time someone else better be engaged so I can help plan their big day–haha!
1. I am loving that after lots of conversations centered around our wedding day, we ultimately decided to incorporate a videographer–we pulled the trigger a few days ago and I am ELATED to work with Heather and Eugene Brown via 2Duce2 Videography!! This dynamic duo was recommended to us by a slew of fabulous blogging/wedding vendor friends, and I couldn’t be more thankful for so much help… once we spoke with Heather on the phone, we loved her–their work is incredible and I am so thankful Jeff and I will have this memento to look back on our wedding for years to come.
2. I am happy to report that I was able to cross another item off my to-do list earlier this week by finding the perfect bridal shower guest/gift book at a store in Franklin called Wedding Depot… never fear brides-to-be planning in other citites and states, they have a website, too. If you’re searching for guest books, ring bearer pillows, or other wedding accessories, definitely check them out!
3. This week, I am loving the opportunity to play catch-up with a few of my girlfriends over dinner. Last night, Jocelyn and I met up at PM for sushi and wine {which I had never been to previously–AMAZING!} and tonight, I am heading east to see my long lost friend Jenna… her and her husband Matt are going to welcome their 1st baby this coming June and I couldn’t be more excited to meet little Ian when he makes his big debut–incredible friends I have known for a long time and I am ecstatic for them as they enter this next chapter in life!
4. This weekend, I am venturing out to find the perfect flower girl dress for little miss Madeline. This child could look adorable in a paper sack, but she is ALL girl and I know she’s happy to play dress for the big day…
5. And most of all, I am OVER THE MOOON for what’s in store for tomorrow afternoon…my 1st wedding dress fitting!! I have been thinking about this for weeks and can’t believe it’s actually happening–I’ll get to put MY shoes on with MY dress and all my other accessories for the first time and Mom and I couldn’t be any happier to do this together!!
6. I love this “What I’m Loving” idea brought to you by Jamie at This Kind of Love and I am definitely going to keep participating… it’s easy to get distracted by all the difficult obstacles we face each and every week, but it’s good to look at all the GREAT things each of us have and positivity to keep us focused and inspired–love it!
