Whirlwind Weekend… Graduation + Wedding + Shower= FUN!

my poor suitcase finally gets to unload itself after 3 weekends of back-to-back travelling… atlanta, chicago, and knoxville trips were amazing and so much fun, though i am happy to say the next time this lady packs will be for her honeymoon to antigua–has a nice ring to it i think! here is the official play-by-play of the weekend activities… {and yes, get ready for picture overload–we were in prime picture taking moods this time around!}

friday morning, we ventured to knoxville early to get ready for my cousin’s graduation extravaganza… what a great ceremony!! our family was so proud of ms. lauren and her big accomplishment and had a wonderful time celebrating such a big chapter in her life.  saturday, we attended lauren’s graduation lunch for our family at sequoyah grille…great food and a great time with everyone closest to her. we relaxed, ate yummy food, and she got to opening her gifts!!

that afternoon, we headed to bev’s mother-in-law’s house for some afternoon sun time…the 1st time ive been able to layout this year and it was nice just to chat with the ladies and spend some time vegging in the sunshine! then we headed back to bev’s house to get everyone ready for joanna and rhett’s wedding…lucky for all of us, the stormy weather moved out that afternoon and it was blue skies for their gorgeous outside ceremony at hunter valley farm…love it!
that night, we danced the night away, indulged in AMAZING food–yes, they even had fried chicken–and most certainly drank like we were in college all over again. such a great wedding honoring two incredible people…they are in for a happy life together and we wish them all the best!!

after the reception was over, we all gathered up our taxis and headed to the bar…to the 2nd new tin roof in knox which was SO MUCH FUN! and yes, we even managed to sneak in some backseat photoshoot action as well not to mention late night taco bell was in order to commemorate the night’s festivities.

sunday, we were up and at it early again to get ready for my final bridal shower hosted by my soon to be sister-in-law. we had brunch at la costa in market square with margaritas and it was so much fun to catch-up with everyone…such a great celebration with some very important ladies!! i felt very blessed and happy that everyone was able to come since we had so many other events going on this weekend 😉

then it was time to head home…i was pooped and ready to relax at home–so much to say that i sat myself on the couch, caught up on all my favorite TV shows, and indulged in my sunday evening routine of devouring ice cream–heaven on earth i tell you. now back to monday’s craziness and tackling more at work…have a great one friends!
