That’s right ladies and gentlemen…start your engines, no it’s not Nascar time, but it’s 30 days to go until it’s football time in Tennessee! If you’ve read my blog for any period of time, you are well aware of my love for all things SEC football, with my heart belonging loyally to the Tennessee Vols. Born and bred from a little wee one to always sport my orange, I’m forever on the lookout for game day fashionables. Here are some of my favorite new finds for us Rocky Top gals đ
Like I mentioned last week, now is your chance to win another fun giveaway brought to you by the fabulous Dress for the Game. My friend Heather founded this business in order to help ladies dress fashionable for game day Saturdays–she was gracious enough to offer us a fun scarf perfect for anyone to sport this coming football season…
Cute scarf. I like to sport game day colors, nothing too over the top. đ Love your picks.
I love my Texas Tech Red Raiders! So anything black & red. A cute red raider dress, cowgirl boots, and of course red finger nails. đ
Love the scarf! I am super excited about football season starting & so excited to tailgate at the first home NC State game! My all time fav thing to wear at games won't be needed for a few months…my red pea coat!
I go all out and look like my team colors threw up on me đ
I cannot wait! I am a huge SEC football fan as well – GO GATORS! I can't wait to tailgate in my pretty game day dresses and other cute attire! My boyfriend is a high school football coach, so once football season is here – its nothing but football, football, football in this house! SO EXCITED!!
By the way, I adore your blog and your wedding details that we've seen were gorgeous. I can't wait to see all the pictures!! đ
I can't wait! I have my team's season schedule posted at work and my countdown is on too! I wear anything from a team tee to jeans and a great shirt (red, black or white!). Sometimes I'll wear a great jersey knit dress in the early summer because of the heat. Always remember comfy shoes!
Favorite game day attire – cowboy boots! Down here in the big 12 we love game days but tailgating is the real tradition! – sarah
Can't wait for football season to start! And even though I sport red and blue on the weekends, I was taught to love all things SEC and I must say that you wear the orange really well! Cute finds!
I watch in so many ways! We live in Memphis so go to Tiger Football games sometimes, but are from Ohio so watch Ohio State on tv! What a fun give away!
I love a cute dress and my vintage cowboy boots. It always seems to be the perfect thing for fall games!
Always a dress and cowboy boots!!
Raised a Vol fan myself, I kept orange in the blood when I went to Clemson University. Although, I still sport the "Tennessee Orange" as my brother is a UT grad.
My favorite gameday outfit? Something simple, but cute. Jeans and and fabulous orange top. Although light weight dresses are a must here in South Carolina for those hot September games. I'm excited to break in my new Orange and Platium Jack Rogers this year!
Orange is also a must for Fridays work attire to keep up the Solid Orange tradition for Clemson alums.
Hey girl! I am a new reader of your blog and it is already one of my favorites! Raised to cheer for the KY Wildcats in basketball but chose to cheer for the GA Bulldogs in football (that is where I did my residency). Either way I am, like you, a SEC girl!
I love to wear fun dresses and Jack Rogers to games when it is still warm and then transition to scarves and cowboots as the weather cools down! I now live in Virginia and am surrounded by ACC schools so I host "game watching" parties so those of us that love the SEC can get our fix!
Have fun in Knoxville this weekend!
LOVE this! Heather is the best! Love all her dresses! You know an Auburn girl needs this scarf though! đ
Oooolala! I would LOVE to win this scarf! đ My favorite game day attire is probably a jersey for the team I am rooting for!! I like to go with the classic team sportswear!
What a fantastic giveaway! LOVE the scarf. As an adopted Penn State fan (fiance went there and my school doesn't have much in the "good football team" department), I am so ready and excited for this year to start! We love hanging out with friends to watch or going to Penn State bars in the area. Hoping to get to my first home PSU game sometime this season (my first game, we went down to Tuscaloosa).
Hope you have a great weekend!
I'm a FSU fan, and every year I'm all decked out in garnet and gold!
gorgeous scarf!
My favorite attire is a cute dress in school colors and my cowboy boots or jacks đ
I am a Virginia Tech Hokie and love my women's cut jersey.
I am no Tennessee fan, but Oklahoma State is also orange! I'm loving the orange jcrew shirt! – Alyssa
I'm just a different shade of orange…Texas Longhorn burnt orange. đ I love white pants as long as I can get away with them with a fun orange top! Bring on football season!!
As a Penn State student, you have to be prepared for either really HOT or really chilly weather! I like to sport a cute Nittany Lions tattoo on my cheek regardless đ I try to bring the south to the north and love to dress to impress for games, a cute blue and white polka dot dress always does the trick for tailgate and then time in the student section!
Wearing a Jersey đ
I'm a Clemson Tiger so anything orange! Orange scarves….my favorite cowboy boots. Ah, I am SO ready!
I love wearing my bright orange Express wool sweater and my knee high brown riding boots!!!
I love wearing my University of Washington purple husky jersey along with purple and gold beads, a face tattoo, and my Husky sweat bands on my wrists. Sometimes I'll throw in some purple nail polish too. Go Dawgs!!!
Yay, football season has finally arrived!!! I'm a jeans and orange shirt girl, whose always impressed with those girls who can make orange look good and fashionable! The scarf is so cute!
College football season is my favorite time of year! I'm SO ready to cheer on the Commodores! My fiance is a diehard alumni and I love any excuse to throw a party- we are the perfect tailgating team. Every home game we are in the parking lot bright and early with lots of yummy food and great friends. I am usually a dress and boots or jeans and cardigan girl- a scarf would be the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe.
I have to admit I'm not a huge football fan, but I do LOVE baseball! I bled orange for my SF Giants. I have gone to a game (at least once) every season since their new park opened 11 years ago. I love sporting Black (sure a flattering color) and orange (which I can wear well) for EVERY game we go to PLUS it's always on our tv when a game is on. A new scarf would be a bonus on those cold game nights by the bay.
As an Ole Miss fan, this navy scarf would be perfect for the Grove! I love my Rebels! Hotty Toddy!
Even though I only went to OU for a year.. it's still the team I cheer for when it's college football season.
And. I. Can't. Wait.
I'm definitely a Razorback through and through, but always cheer on fellow SEC teams when we're not playing! I love wearing those cute little game stickers on my cheek for every game! And of course, you have to sport that Razorback red! Woo Pig Sooie đ
Go Big Orange! We are big Vol fans at my house. I usually wear an orange top and shorts or jeans to the games. My fave is an orange sweater, jeans, and boots. We will be heading to Knoxville for as many games as possible!!
Love it!! Now, if only I could find all of these in Razorback Red… Ha!
I love the new make over… looks fabulous!! I will have to change the name of your blog on my page đ I think my new favorite cheering attire would be a scarf – the San Francisco games can get cold!
Ready for some football! Already ordered my Dallas shirts!
Cute bows/headbands and football jerseys are the way to go for football games! Love this season!

ORANGE everything! Go VOLS!!
What's not to love about some college football?! As a North Carolina girl, I must say that ACC football rules my house. Love wearing jeans, cute top, and boots! đ
Oh my gosh, LOVE college football! I'm an Oklahoma State girl–so it's orange all the day! And not just on game day, but I always wear ornage on the Friday before agame. I'm an attorney, so it take some work to come up with a season's worth of orange work outfits! đ

LOVE football season! Scarves are the easist way to accesorize for game day.
I go to ECU in North Carolina so of course I'm wearing purple pulling on the Pirates! I like to wear a purple dress and cowgirl boots and tailgate with the family. So much fun!
I love college football. I would wear a really cute red shirt to cheer on my raiders.
Great giveaway! I had no idea how hard it is to dress for football games! I have a personalized ribbon business….I can make ribbon for you in your team colours for your ponytails, wine glasses etc :O) http://www.Royal-Ribbons.com Thanks bunches!
My husband and I and our four kids all pull out the purple and gold, head to toe LSU! We have our own "kick-off" party every year and there is purple and gold everywhere. SEC all the way!
Hey! I'm def not an SEC kinda gal, BUT I love when you do these football clothes picks. I have season tickets at Illinois and we are ORANGE and blue! I purchased a few of the things you picked out last year that were orange, and by looking at it I'm sure I'll be doing the same this year! LOVE that you do this!
LOVE that first dress from Lulu's. A great way to wear a challenging color!
My college didn't have a football team (gasp I know) but I love NFL football, I usually wear a jersey to cheer on my Colts but I love the idea of wearing Blue/white 'normal' girly clothes instead!!
I like to accent with jewelry!
I'm with you – SO VERY READY for some college football (go Red Raiders…. Cason and I both are Texas Tech alumns!).
My game day accessory of choice is definitely a scarf! I love that one from Anthro, by the way!
My blood is garnet & black! I wear my colors on Saturday even if I am not attending the game. When I am at a game, my attire is not complete until I have my cheek tattoo on.
I will be launching a new blog on Monday that will be dedicated to Gameday attire, tailgating, recipes, mini football lessons and the teams/towns of the SEC & ACC. I would love to have you over to guest blog about Knoxville.
thebellesofsaturday.blogspot.com There is nothing there right now, but will be up and running on Monday.
