It’s already hump day, and I think this week is flying by at a rapid pace, but it’s my version of Friday…yippee!! This week, lots to love:
We’re leaving for the beach tomorrow morning–ahhh, a fun-filled vacation no doubt is calling my name! We’re spending the first half with friends celebrating Andy’s 30th birthday AKA old-man status, and then meeting up with my parents for a few more days in the Florida sun…bring it on please!!
We are working on the itinerary for our couples’ NYC trip coming up in December and it is making me so excited…places to go, people to see, restaurants to try, and tons of shopping to be done! It’s going to be a blast, and getting to go the weekend before Christmas is just icing on the cake.
New reading material for vacation…I bought Sara Gruen’s Ape House {same author of “Water for Elephants”} and I cannot wait to catch up on some entertaining reading! I’m hoping to get through that one and then start on Sarah’s Key.
Outlet malls–yes indeed, this lady will be hitting up the outlets in Destin while we’re at the beach. Mom and I already said the boys can have “their time” while we have a conduct a little retail therapy for ourselves.
New fall line-up of shows is FINALLY starting! I’m already addicted to the new season of Rachel Zoe, but a few more shows I’ll be tuning in for include Up All Night, Revenge, Modern Family, The Playboy Club, Whitney, Pan Am, and of course–the 2nd season of my favorite show Boardwalk Empire!! There goes productivity while at home đ
I hope you all have a fantastic week…I am hoping for hoards of endlessly entertaining pictures showcasing vacation upon my return next week!
totally trying to talk my hubs into going to NY during the holidays. My birthday is in Dec and I let him know that NY would be a great gift đ

Hi! I'm your newest follower! I love your blog..so glad I found it!! đ
Not to add more to your list, but now that you have a bun in the oven you need a little more relax time! đ You should definitely also check out Ringer (which started last night), Hart of Dixie and The New Girl. Ringer was amazing and both HOD and TNG look fabulous too!
Happy Wednesday! Have fun at the beach! XOXO, Stephanie @ Blonde Highlights
So many things to love! I hope y'all have a fabulous vacation! And Ape House is a great read, not so sure if it's as good as Water for Elephants but I definitely enjoyed it!
Sounds like a fun vacation planned! I just finished Sarah's Key. It was a very good book – I read it in a night and a half. Quite eye-opening and some heart-breaking parts, but very very good! Hope you enjoy, and congrats on the news of your little one đ
Have an amazing time on vacation! I can't wait for the recap. That's my way of living vicariously through you! đ Gotta love the outlet malls.
Please let us know how the Sarah Gruen book is! I've been considering buying it…
