November, I love you. With you brings chilly temps perfect for lounging in the house with fleece blankets and warm sweater socks, Mom’s birthday, Christmas Village, and Thanksgiving…seriously, all jam packed into one month? Say it aint so!
To round out October though, we spent the weekend relaxing and staying in Nashville–it was so nice just to be home with not too many plans for a change.
Friday night, we had an impromptu date night with Lauren and Andy at our favorite mexican restaurant and then settled in for the evening. Saturday, I busted it at the gym early in the day, finished baking and preparing my dishes, and then headed to my aunt’s house for their annual Fall Fest…chili + hot dogs roasted on the fire + football + family + celebrating my grandmother’s birthday = amazing night. On Sunday, we finally made it back to church, and then Meg and I had a best friend afternoon complete with shopping, lunch at Sopapilla’s, and massages…heavenly {and for anyone pregnant, you MUST get a prenatal massage–works wonders I tell you!}

With the onset of November brings other exciting things…the debut of the infamous red cup at our favorite coffee shop, all the holiday decor coming up in the stores, holiday baking, my favorite sales to stock up on Christmas gifts for the family {hello Black Friday!}, and holiday tunes taking over radio stations–yes, I get in the mood and no one can hold me back! Yippee…bring on the holiday fun!
