Happy Monday everyone! This one was one for the books…just dont let me get too emotional as I talk about it ;). It’s amazing how blessed you feel when you see so many of your friends, from near and far, gathered around in one room to celebrate your baby that is coming oh so soon. I’ve got some incredible friends to thank for such a wonderful and fun shower, and I cannot wait to show it to you soon!
In another world, I’m still slacking at the photo challenge participation, and not posting daily, however I think wrapping a few in at a time suits me-or we’ll just stick with that as my explanation.
February 9: Front Door–ours looks rather sad. No holiday decor,

February 10: Self Portrait-I cheated and actually took this Saturday
night because I had forgotten the day before!

February 11: Makes You Happpy-our fridge with so many exciting events coming up…save the dates and showers for weddings, baby announcements, and V-day cards…definitely makes me happy!
February 12: Inside My Closet-color coded and then organized into various categories…

So the husband played nice yesterday and took me to see The Vow, which contrary to what some reviews said, I absolutely loved it! Jeff admitted it was a lot better than he expected, and any reason to look at Channing Tatum for 2 hours-yes, go.see.it.now. Afterwards, we had a relaxing pre-vday celebratory dinner at one of my favorite local places, Germantown Cafe, complete with fried green tomatoes, shrimp pasta, and apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. I would say that was a successful date indeed!
Then we came home to watch the less-than-exciting Grammy’s…yay for Adele racking up the trophies just as she most certainly deserves, but other than that, nothing really grabbed my attention. Poor Whitney Houston, though I can’t say I’m surprised-I just wish these celebrities would wake up and realize life is too short to just throw it all away.
Lots going on this week-from Vday to work to extra curricular activities with the ladies-very fun indeed! đ

I have read a lot of mixed reviews about The Vow. I never thought about dragging the hubs to it but he would probably watch it if we Netflix-ed it =)

We saw the Vow on Saturday night and loved it. My hubs was pretty impressed with it as well!

I was def one of the on the contrary views regarding the VOW lol but that's only because I read the book and got to know the "Truth" before hollywood messed with the story and such đ
