it’s taken me WAY too long to go through all my 200+ pictures from this past weekend…if that is any indication of what a great time we all had celebrating candice and adam, then the time was absolutely worth it-i swear we were all acting like we were in our “younger years” all over again and i loved every minute of it. here is a little recap from all the festivities. (WARNING…picture overload!!)
friday morning, us girls met up with the blushing bride at puffy muffin for our bridesmaid brunch. we sipped on mimosas, indulged in some poppyseed bread, chicken salad, and strawberry cake, and just took it easy, conversating and such. we then headed to pam and monroe’s house to relax the rest of the afternoon before the rehearsal/dinner celebration.
that night after the ceremony run-through, we headed to merchant’s downtown for one amazing meal. they had rented a private room upstairs for all of us to enjoy and we got to take in the sights of downtown, too. they had the sweetest slideshow filled with hundred of pictures from their childhood up until now and you could just feel all the love in the room. we all gave our toasts and roasts 😉 and told them how excited we were for their new life together. and yes, i may have snuck a little something in my purse “to-go” that night–hehe.
we then headed out to paradise park for some late night honky tonking one last time with candice as a single girl…singing front and center right next to the stage, and making it out until 1AM before calling the parentals to come and take us home…we needed our beauty sleep ;).
wedding day arrived and we spent the morning and early afternoon getting our hair done and just having some girl time before heading to the church for all the pictures before the ceremony. fast forward to 6:30 and the ceremony was gorgeous. sweet, thoughtful, and you can’t help but tear up when friends’ take that vow for life….happy day! afterwards, we headed downtown to the cannery and let the good times roll!!
a wonderful wedding weekend indeed and i know candice was so happy to see all her hard work planning her big day pay off…that it did! couldn’t be happier for my friend and their happily ever after.
