a. We are officially obsessed with Homeland…everyone kept telling us about this show and last weekend Showtime was free so we checked it out…ummm yeah, fast forward 5 hours after we watched 5 episodes back-to-back and we can admit we’re hooked. I got online the very next morning and ordered Season 1 on DVD…if you’re looking for a new show, check it out! You won’t be disappointed.
b. Thanks to Old Navy for having a 30% sale off everything the other day, this lady racked up some new maternity fashions, perfect for spring. Plus, you can NEVER have too many dresses and skirts. My goal this time around is to wear a lot of basics, but make sure I accessorize with necklaces, lightweight scarves, and such to make it fun and add some color.
c. Party planning for Miss Caroline’s 1st birthday party is in full swing…poor Jeff doesn’t know how to handle me because we’ll be laying in bed and I’ll throw out some random idea since it’s all I can seem to think about these days. We’re working on invitations right now with my favorite party girls, Nico and Lala, and I can’t wait to show off the final product. I’m making an inspiration board to get all my ideas together and can’t wait to share!
d. I won a giveaway at our last MOPS meeting of the year in December that is a daily devotional for kids called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I’ve been reading one a day and it is really helping me to remember what’s important and how to always include God in everything we do…such a great little daily reminder!
e. We have a big weekend in the books fast approaching and I cannot wait to let the festivities begin! Miss Caroline has an overnight rendezvous scheduled with her Mimi and Pappy tonight so Jeff and I are headed to try out a new restaurant…one of my favorite traditions we like to do. Then, best friend Bev and Christian are coming into town to stay for the weekend and we’ve got all sorts of fun planned out with everyone. CC also has her first official birthday party to attend Saturday afternoon for her playmate Mary Hayes!
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
best show over!!!

I've been hearing so many great things about Homeland. My husband and I are going to have to watch that series for sure now. Also, that devotional book for kids looks perfect for gifts. Thanks for sharing!

I love that show! Boyfriend & I had the same thing happen to us; we randomly decided to watch it on a Sunday afternoon, started with the first episode, and suddenly it was every night, two episodes a night, until we got to the end of Season 2! Such a great show!
