I had a fun request when I did my Q&A series to do a routine checkup of things I am loving…and to be honest, I’ve had a harder time than usual these days coming up with any sort of interesting blog content so I thought ” why not now??” Hope you enjoy!
These wedges from DSW…now if they would only give me some type of discount!
I am trying to be practical and frugal with my purchases so if there
is no promotion/discount, they won’t be coming home to me – good motto, right?
Speaking of shopping, it was just announced yesterday that Nashville’s first H&M store has a grand opening date of June 6th!! Bring it on…I have been anxiously awaiting this for what seems like forever. First a Nordstrom, and now this?? We’ve come a long way Music City…now if they would only deliver an Ikea, and a Crate and Barrel, my world would be complete.
I’ve got a favorite new summer shade for your nails…it’s the perfect pink/coral with a hint of bright so it totally works when you’re wearing red, too. It’s from Essie (of course) and it’s called Peach Daiquiri
I have a fondness for fun pajamas and Target has stepped it up as of late…so many options from long maxi nightgowns to chemise tops to tanks and shorts-love it all and it’s SUPER comfy, too! Don’t you think this will be perfect “hospital wear” for when Miss Carson arrives?
I am so excited summer is officially here..well, not really by the legitimate Farmer’s Almanac, but by my calculations I say it is…I see many afternoons spent at my parent’s neighborhood pool in my future soaking up some rays! Bring on the heat and REAL (AKA no spray tan) sun.
I FINALLY ordered the window treatments for Carson’s nursery AND saved some money because I waited until I found an online coupon code…see, here I go again with the discount talk. They are from Land of Nod and are the perfect shade of pink to match her bedding…cannot wait to get them installed in her space, which is coming right along!
I read The Great Gatsby last week when I was lounging at the beach and am so excited to see the movie now! Did anyone else have to read it as part of their high school English curriculum? So funny how I loathed reading back then and now I love a great book! I hear everyone is swooning over Mr. Dicaprio yet again đ
That’s it for this go around my friends…hope you enjoyed a little hodge podge talk today!
Gatsby is AMAZING! So excited for nashville's H&M!!! I'm in knoxville and I was hoping we would get one in our area soon.
I loved reading "The Great Gatsby" in high-school. And whenever I re-read it I think of my awesome American Lit teacher. I just wish the movie was not in 3-D. 3-D movies make me feel sea-sick:(
They have it without 3D as well!
I have the t-shirt pajamas that you posted and I love mine. It's the exact same color. I like it so much, I want to go back and buy another one.
I just saw GG over the weekend – so good!
Natasha, too funny! I wore those night gowns when I was in the hospital! I have the stripes one and one in coral! They were perfect!
I'm loving your picks! That coral shade is to die for!

I was supposed to read it when I was in school but I don't remember ever actually reading it (star student over here)! I'm reading it now and am loving it! Can't wait to see the movie.
Loving the coral polish and the shoes!!! I'm thinking that a trip to Nashville may have to be in my future to check out H&M!! Wish we would get one in Memphis!
I read Gatsby in high school, but can't wait to read it again (and to see the movie)! We have had an H&M but just got a Nordstrom Rack (like, it literally just opened today). I cannot WAIT to go exploring!!
Love that color nail polish! That is definitely my favorite brand too!!
I seriously need to invest in some cute PJs. My poor husband is probably sick of seeing my faded tank top from 8th grade! Essie is my favorite when I don't have gelish on my nails! Perfect color;)
LOVE you're taste! (Just kidding, YOUR taste;)
those curtains are too die for! cant wait to see her room come together!
Gatsby was definitely assigned to us in high school, but I don't think I really read it back then–I'm sure I went the Cliff's Notes route. Shame, shame. I'm reading it right now though and I'm loving it!

So jealous of Nashville's shopping! I have been eyeing those Land of Nod curtains for DH's big girl room (hahaha, a long while in advance).
