ONE. Mini Blog Sale
I’m mentioning this first and foremost, not only so I don’t forget, but so that holds me accountable to making sure I finish what I start…Next week, I am going to have a mini blog/closet sale of sorts so stay tuned!! Gotta make way for some new fall attire again so be on the lookout if you need some cute dresses and such…P.S. can this please be MY closet??
TWO. The Royal Bambino
Is his name a cluster or what?? George Alexander Louis…how in the world are they going to monogram all their royal goodies I dare say!! Oh the travesty (said in my best British accent!). I have to admit I felt SO cool the other day when they posted that they are using a Britax car seat (same kind we have) as well as Aden+Anais blankets (us, too)…maybe I should send her our baby recommendations since it’s evident we are supposed to be BFFs. π
THREE. Baby Email Accounts
I heard about this idea the other day and instantly, I thought this is something I want to do for my girls…it’s where you create an email account for each of your children and you start writing them letters and such for important events, daily reminders of something they did that day (funny, milestone, etc), and then if you want, you send it to friends and family to let them in on the fun, too. Technology definitely has its benefits sometimes! Isn’t this a great idea?? Couldn’t wait to share this!
FOUR. Secrets of a Happy Marriage
I found this article and wanted to make sure I bookmarked it…not only for myself, but for others too. It’s basically things we know to be true, but maybe push to the back burner when life gets in the way or we are running around like crazy people. Sometimes I am bad about putting Jeff first and this was a kind reminder to make sure to keep that spark in our marriage…a few that stood out to me:
a. Pretend You Just Met…act like you just started dating
b. Tweet Responsibly…don’t share TOO much on the internet
c. Nurture Your Friends Relationships…encouragement is good for all of us
FIVE. Baby Weight Slimdown
It’s a work in progress and I know it’s going to take some time…everyone says it’s harder to lose the love the second time around and this is proving to be a little trickier. Some of that due to breastfeeding and making sure I get enough calories. I went to my doctor for my checkup yesterday and got the all clear to resume my normal exercise and such, and I am glad because I am ready to hit the ground running…literally. I’ve been hitting the gym up a few times over the past 3 weeks, but made sure to tone it down to make sure I was giving my body enough time to “heal”. I have yet to work my abs, which is where I need the most help, but here are a few snapshots of where I am now (almost 6 weeks post-delivery). 20 pounds down, 10 pounds to go…
That’s it for this week my friends…off to get ready for a fun-filled weekend!! Brunch with my mommy friends tomorrow to celebrate Adri, dinner with the family Saturday night for my cousin’s upcoming birthday, and then church and Grunke time on Sunday…cheers!

LOVE that idea about the email accounts! I saw the idea a few weeks ago and immediately wanted a baby so that I could start! Haha! Have you seen the "new" Wife After God devotional floating around on Instagram? I started it a week ago and MY OH MY is it going to change my relationship with Christ AND my marriage. You mentioning that marriage article made me think about it!

Okay, you look AMAZING!!!!! Did you end up using the shapewear that you posted about a few weeks ago?? I used the Belly Bandit after I had Arden, but it was so uncomfortable and annoying that I gave up on it pretty earlyβ¦but I think I could handle the shapewear! Anyway, you look wonderful, momma!
