I’m back at it with the blogging party link-up festivities, and today we’re talking all things St. Patrick’s Day, which just so happens to be one of my favorite holidays AKA Caroline’s birthday.
We have a fun little link-up planned with some of my favorite blogging friends, and you are welcome to join in on the fun, too. We want you to share with us your favorite GREEN/St. Patrick’s Day related recipe by March 10th. All you have to do is add your name to the linky-tool below (just like you do for Five on Friday) and we will magically pair you with another blogger. You’ll then have one week to make the recipe you were paired with and then on St. Patrick’s Day we will all share the new recipes with our readers. Us hosts are sharing our favorite recipes today, and then will share another recipe on March 17th for the person we got matched up with. Any excuse to cook is a win for me (and for Jeff) and I’m excited to try out some festive new green menu options as well.
Today I am sharing an addictive little goodie properly called Lucky Charm Snack Mix, brought to you by Sweetology 101.
I first found this concoction when I was searching high and low for favors to send home with birthday party guests last year. When I found this one, it was a no-brainer. Our friends and family LOVED this savory sweet, and I might have gotten a few calls and texts saying they ate the entire bag in one sitting…oops.
Here’s the full recipe:
Ingredients
Lucky Charms
Green M&M’s
Peanuts
Pretzels
White Melting Chocolate
Green Sugar Sprinkles (optional)
Directions
1. Take Lucky Charms (about 6 cups) and separate out the marshmallows.
2. Take the cereal WITHOUT marshmallows and add pretzels, peanuts and then spread it out on a rimmed baking sheet or pour into bowl to mix with the chocolate.
3. Melt white chocolate and pour over and mix well.
4. Next add the magically delicious marshmallows and some M&M’s.
5. Eat it and thank me later đ
