One. Teacher Appreciation Gifts
Today is Caroline’s last day at MDO for this school year and I think I am going to be the one crying…it’s amazing to see how much my big girl has grown this year and I can’t thank her sweet teachers enough for all they have done. I have been so impressed with how much she has learned, her vocabulary has increased tenfold, and her social skills with other children has really helped the transition with baby sister, too. We sure will miss Mrs. Carla and Mrs. Lisa this summer! So, for a sweet little surprise for them, we are gifting them with these adorable “Thanks a Latte” cards and homemade Cream Cheese Banana Nut Bread loaves… nothing too fancy, but just to say how much we appreciate everything they have done for CC this year.
Two. Sweet Snack Time
Looking for a yummy snack that satisfies that afternoon craving for sweetness?? I’ve recently gotten into the habit of having two rice cakes topped with peanut butter and it’s my new favorite go-to! The rice cakes are low in calories and the peanut butter has a good amount of protein, so it’s a win win. Top it with a few choc chips and it sounds like dessert to me.
Three. Packing Nonsense
I despise–revise that loathe–packing in every sense of the word. Having to do all the laundry, packing, organizing, and making sure not to forget one single thing gives me major anxiety, and now that I am packing for four, it makes it even more troublesome when we are going on a trip. Thankfully, I found a really helpful printable (yes, I know another dang printable) but it really helps keep me on track and not overpacking for the babies…and yes, me too.
I hate packing too, we're going to Disney next week and I think I may print out that printable too. I hope you all have the best time on vacation and as usual, I can't wait to read all about it. Congrats to your sweet friend too!
You're going to Rosemary Beach!? Ever since I read Abbi Glines,Rosemary Beach series, I've wanted to go there! Gorgeous pic of you and your bestie 🙂 Babies just arrived for a few of our friends, no new announcements lately though. Have a wonderful weekend!

Have a wonderful vacation! I feel the same way… So many people I went to high school and college with are all either pregnant or just had a baby. I guess that's what happens when you turn 30 😉
What a great snack idea!
I LOVE those teacher appreciation gifts. I hope to get some next year… last year when I was teaching the only ones who recognized us were the administration at the school! No parents… no students… it was quite sad!
Have a wonderful vacation. That rice cake snack looks yummy. I love the butter rice cakes as a snack, but these I must try.
That rice cakes "dessert" looks divine! I've been on the hunt for healthy snacks, and I think I'm going to hit the grocery store and pick up the ingredients for this one today. Happy weekend!
Such a great snack idea!! I always have the worst sweet craving in the afternoon- thanks for sharing. I need to download that packing list for our trips this summer. Love the teacher gifts- who doesn't love starbucks!
The teacher appreciation gift is so adorable and the cream cheese banana loaf sounds delish! Likewise, I'll have to pick up some rice cakes and mini chocolate chips. Great idea!
Those rice cakes look amazing!! Definitely gonna try some later..thanks!
How funny that you mentioned rice cakes with peanut butter! That is absolutely my favorite snack. I eat them with a glass of almond milk. I have not added chocolate chips, but I may have to try that as well. Congrats to your friends on the little muffin in the oven!
Such a great idea with the rice cakes! Those look delicious!
That printable looks like it may come in handy some day. We could be moving next year across the country, so I'll have to be very wise with my packing.
Have fun on your vacation!
I think you mentioned you hired a photographer for photos at Rosemary Beach? We are going this summer too and I'm curious who you picked? It's a great idea! Thanks!
