Confession: We still have paper blinds up in the majority of our house…fancy, huh? When you start a business, all your discretionary money that used to be spent on decorating and other items goes out the window. Haha. I’m making a joke, but I’m sure our neighbors will be happy when we finally pick some window treatments.
Back to the issue at hand, my sweet Caroline’s big girl room. I am unsure of when the big switcharoo will take place, as I am milking every ounce out of her staying in her crib as long as possible, though I know it’s inevitable, and once those legs start dangling over, it’s going to be a rapid change to a real bed. This makes me WAY too sentimental, too, so let’s not even discuss that.
Because of the impending change to less baby room, I have been pondering ideas for her space and transformation and this is what I have come up with thus far:

This is so sweet! How exciting!
I love the color pallet!
My daughter needs her room redone too. She has a big girl bed, but I want to get rid of the owl theme. Loving your picks! Great room inspiration!
I'd live there đ
Oh love that plan already!! Looks so sweet and like something she'll be able to grow with!
I'm so glad to see that you are doing a queen in her big girl room! I've been wondering about that when it's time to transition Brody to a big boy room. We have a queen in the room he'll move into and I was hoping to just stick with that! I love the design you've put together so far!
Adorable – I love it! That mirror is so fun and I love the sheets. And don't you worry about those paper blinds. I've got the curtains drawn over the windows in all the bedrooms because we've yet to install blinds. And the dining room and formal living room (which is really a playroom, because we so fancy) have nada. No curtains, no blinds. I fully understand the concept of a work in progress.
Love this!!! The sheets are my favorite! What color plae pink paint did you use for the walls? I am tryign to find the perfect shade for baby girl #2's nursery!
Love your inspiration board. I am milking the crib for as long as possible for Elin as well. đ
