I recently stumbled across Susan Merrill and instantly I was hooked to what she had to say. She is the director of iMOM and a mom to five, so I’m fairly certain she has some credibility in the area of parenting… she has written a book called “The Passionate Mom” and it’s a universal parenting approach based upon the Old Testament book of Nehemiah.
It’s all about what makes us moms the best we can be…it’s passion. Passion to teach, protect, study, and prepare her little ones for their future.
I then found her 30-Day Passionate Mom Dare and thought this was something that is not only important, but something I want to genuinely try to incorporate more into my life. Some of these actions require more time, but I know I can learn a lot more about what my children need, think, and feel. Can’t we all be a little more passionate??

I love this! Thanks for sharing. My Sunday School class is a group of parents of young kids (birth-Kindergarten and some with older kids, too) and we're doing this 31 Days of Prayer booklet the month of August. http://familymatters.net/blog/2012/02/01/31-days-of-prayers-for-your-children-diy-prayer-book/
Thought you might be interested. Kind of along the same lines as this. I'm going to save this for future reference for the moms in our class to do together, too. Thanks again!
I am going to do this too! Thanks for posting!!!
