It’s Friday friends, and with that comes another weekly installment of Five on Friday. We thank each of you for your participation and hope you’re enjoying finding some fun new reads to add to your reading list, too! Here’s my lineup:
One. Did Someone Say Sale??
Two. Santa Success
I posted this little snippet of love the other day on Instagram, but it’s totally worthy of oversharing on the blog as well…nothing like spending $50+ on Santa pictures and knowing everyone will be EXTRA happy to receive this goodie come Christmas. My girls nailed it again this year đ
Three. Hot Chocolate Goodness
Sometimes, plain and simple hot cocoa just won’t suffice…especially during the holidays. I found this helpful infographic the other day and had to add it to my collection of wonderful happies. So far, my favorite is the “Nutella” variety.
Four. The Love Language Guide
You know those addictive Facebook quizzes (i.e. What city should you live in? What era should you have been born in? etc?)… yeah I love them too. However, having said that, there isn’t really any helpful “learning” associated with those, other than a way to kill 5 minutes during your day. On the other hand, I saw Chassity post this the other day and was reminded about how much I LOVE The 5 Love Languages and everything I learned from reading it before Jeff and I got married. I revisited the site and took the profile quiz again, and low and behold, I’m still a lover of Quality Time and Acts of Service…whereas Jeff is all about Physical Touch and Words of Affirmation (yes, opposites do attract I guess). Interested in learning your love language? Take the test here.
Five. Home Sweet Home
I am so excited not to have too much lined up this weekend other than a few family obligations….out to dinner for a cousin’s birthday tonight, Christmas shopping with Jeff and the girls tomorrow, having some of our favorite people over for dinner Saturday night, and then church and wrapping gifts on Sunday, with a quick trip to Dickens of a Christmas in Franklin.

Those faces… Santa brings so much joy! đ haha
That picture of the girl's reminds me of my family's most famous photograph of all time. My brother and I are literally screaming, heads back and everything. My mom stamped Bah humbug on it and not seriously everyone talks about it! I showed it on five on friday LAST week.
LOVE IT!!!

I love the 5 Love Languages! That book has helped me in my relationship and friendships. Love the Santa picture of the girls! I hope you have the best weekend!
Ok it's probably sick and twisted but my favorite Santa pictures are the ones like you posted where kids are crying or freaked out. They make me laugh so hard.
totally not twisted…i think most of us prefer them just because of the humor of it all
