one. what’s in and what’s out for spring 2015. 
one of my favorite fashionable ladies posted the big what’s in/what’s out for spring 2015 the other day and i thought i would share it here as well… interesting to see the top looks and trends and i can’t lie, i am LOVING most of these so it’s a win for my closet! if you’re wanting the short version, here you go:

• high tops… ehh, i will keep my personal opinion on this one to myself

two. recent blog loves
love when i find new to me blogs to follow… and these are just a few favs you might like to add to your list, too! Southern Curls and Pearls: one of her recent posts includes a leopard cardigan from the girls’ department at target… YES YES AND YES! then there is Copycat Chic which I’ve been a big fan of for years, but just started reading again on the normal rotation. I love stumbling upon bargains that look expensive and Rachel NEVER disappoints with her finds.

three. gel to the rescue
i have a confession and i feel like i’m behind the times… just this past month, i tried my very first gel/shellac manicure… i know, where have i been, right?? i went back for round #2 the other day and i think i’ve officially been converted. i’m going to have to start saving my pennies to make this a normal occurrence as some peace and quiet and ALONE time at the nail salon was amazing in itself.

four. masquerade dress options
i’ve just started doing my search for the perfect JLN masquerade dress for this year’s event in april and i’m already finding WAY too many gorgeous options to choose from. last year i went with black, so this year i want to add in some color, but i also want something fun and different. let’s face it, jeff and i don’t get to go to too many of these events and it’s fun to play dress up with my guy and paint the town red with our friends… these are some frontrunners i’ve bookmarked and cannot wait for a little shopping adventure to see how these look on soon. my eye keeps going to that navy one… SO pretty!

five. peppercorn kids love and giveaway
finally, i wanted to show off some fun new goodies from my friends at Peppercorn Kids! they were kind enough to send some items to Caroline to add to her wardrobe. she is obsessed with all things dress up and she told me that she is now a “big girl” with her new purse and bracelet… their collection of bright, happy, and cheerful accessories and gifts is always a go-to for us and the price point is great for anyone that’s looking for a little gift that doesn’t break the budget.
