FINALLY… I sat down, gulped down a few cups of coffee, and sifted through the 1,000+ pictures we took over the course of the week at Rosemary Beach! I know, it’s June and I am just now getting the opportunity to tell you all about the fabulous family adventure we had in Florida! Sit back and relax and get a bit jealous because the weather was perfect and so was my company 😉
First off, here is a little show and tell of the house we rented called Amsler Cottage… amazingly perfect, cozy, casual, and oh so close to the beach and the streets of Rosemary.
Once we got all unpacked, hit up the grocery store, and ordered our favorite Angelina’s Pizza for dinner, we then headed down to the sand to check out the landscape for the week… not too shabby, right? That night, we took it easy and rested up so we could rise and shine for our first full day of beachtime fun!
Sunday morning came quickly and there were two littles who were OH SO excited to get down to the beach early! We ate breakfast, got all of our beach bags packed, applied our sunscreen, and then headed down… we built sand castles, we jumped in the waves, we took walks along the shore, and of course we ate and drank and ate and drank!
Sunday night, we headed to local favorite Great Southern Cafe over in Seaside, as we had all decided it was time for a major seafood overload… and of course, it was AMAZING just like it always is. Then, we headed to Duckie’s for some souvenirs and Mimi and Pap treated the girls to new balls so we could go play by the amphitheater, though I think Jeff and I might have gotten carried away in the fun and stolen them for a game of soccer.
P.S… Sorry, I’m not sorry for picture overload, just wanting to make sure I memorize all the details while they are still fresh in my memory, right??? Hope you’re loving this little peak into our week away… stay tuned for part two coming up soon!
What a PERFECT vacation!!! That beach house is to die for!!!
How lovely! Would you recommend Rosemary Beach for a couple? Or is it more catered towards families?
totally for either!!! there is a boutique hotel called the pearl that definitely caters to couples and there are plenty of restaurants in the town that are specifically for date nights 🙂
