Back to School… All the Necessities and a Giveaway!

Oh the scent of freshly sharpened pencils… it gets me every time. Wait, does anyone use those in school anymore?? Haha. I can see it now: we’d go to the first day of school, I would meet my new teacher, check out the classroom, and then they would hand it over: the list of all the supplies we needed for the year. JACKPOT! Instantly, I would beg my Mom to take me to Office Max/Target/etc to stock up… please tell me I am not the only school supply junkie out there??

Yes, the girls go to Mother’s Day Out two days a week and I was itching to make sure they were well-stocked and ready to head Back to School. And of course I wanted to show you all our favorites that we cannot live without, too! 

Mabel’s Labels Personalized Stickers || Because you want to make sure no one is drinking from your kid’s cup or messing with their extra change of clothes… these are my favorite go-to stickers and they have held up extremely well throughout endless amounts of dishwashing and back and forth to home and school. Pottery Barn Kids Lunch Storage Boxes || The great thing about these is that you buy them once and you’re good to go… no repurchasing necessary! We have the Dual Compartment, Chip and Dip, and Three-Piece Sets and they make lunch assembly fast, easy, and organized. 

Seersucker Backpacks and Lunchboxes || I’m a sucker for anything monogrammed… I’m southern, so it’s what we do. We just put our names on everything! And I recently purchased round two of our seersucker backpack and lunchbox sets from Chic-A-Dee. The girls love them and of course they match! They wash well once dirty, too 😉 

Hello Toothpaste || Another recent favorite from my little ones is their new found love of brushing their teeth… THANK THE LORD. It has only taken loads of encouragement and experimenting with 2526 flavors to find a few they both liked. Hello products are fun and effective and the flavors taste REALLY good… we love the green apple variety in our house! And yes, they have adult options, too. I hope my girls get their daddy’s rock solid teeth, but I know if I have handed down my genetics, at least we are brushing with some of the best out there!

On the Go Snacks || We are forever hopping to and fro during the day… dance class, MDO, post office visits, and anything and everything in between. Thankfully, we have a handful of favorite snacks that are kid-friendly, taste great, and travel well, too. Plum Organics has been a staple in our house ever since Caroline was able to eat pouches and these Mashups and Jammy Sammy minis have occupied our pantry shelves for a long time now.
