Remember when I said when it comes to family time as of late we are living by the motto, “Quality Over Quantity”… well I meant it and I am so happy to say that Jeff and I have both been really trying to put the work down on the nights and weekends in exchange for that special time together, and as a family.
Friday night, we kept it mellow and went to our neighborhood Mexican restaurant, complete with margaritas for the parents and sopapillas for the girls… I know, we do it big! Saturday morning, we hit it early and left the house to run errands, visit Target to stock up on Halloween decor and candy for trick-or-treaters [although I bet I eat half of it before the holiday actually gets here], and then took the girls to the local pumpkin patch for pick up pumpkins to carve and paint. We were happy the patch we visited benefits
The Cooper Trooper Foundation, so the proceeds go to an amazing organization doing BIG things in our community as well!
We jumped, we rode wagons while we selected the perfect pumpkins for the porch and then we headed home for a later-than-normal naptime. That evening, we headed to The Factory and went to our favorite pottery place,
Third Coast Clay, for some arts and crafts fun… we painted ornaments to get a head start on all things Christmas and then topped off our amazing family fun day with dinner at Chick-Fil-A.
Sunday morning, we decided to rest up, stay in our jammies and have a yummy breakfast by Daddy. Then we took to the neighborhood for a bundled up Sunday stroller ride and relaxed… all before I headed to Belk for the
