ONE || Blogger’s Night Out With the Cosmetic Market
Tuesday night, my gal pal Rachel and I got together for a girl’s favorite thing to do… shop and sip on champs. The Cosmetic Market was kind enough to host an event for local blogger’s to come play with their amazing lines of all things beauty, socialize, and of course stock up on some new essentials, too. I had been in the market for a few things so here is what I brought home:
Nars Scarlett Empress Lipstick || The perfect hue for fall… I wanted a rich, deep red lipcolor and this semi-matte variety instantly stood out!
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water || I’ve been on the hunt for a “setting spray” that seals your makeup and I’m hoping I found the perfect duo that acts as a primer AND a finishing spray. This variety came highly recommended so I am giving it a go.
Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara || I haven’t had a chance to make it back to my dear Shala for eyelash extensions lately so I am trying to work with what I’ve got… i.e. normal lashes. Rachel exclaimed how much she loved this mascara so when someone recommends something, I usually jump to try it out for myself… so far, I am loving it!
And of course that event is complete without a proper swag bag??!?!?!?! YAY!!!!

THREE || The Potty Rocker
I’ve been known to try anything and everything when it comes to potty training… sticker charts, skittles as a reward, applause and lots of jumping and down, and the list goes on and on. Recently, I was contacted by my friends at The Potty Rocker to test out their genius solution for getting littles to hit up the bathroom and it’s been a HUGE hit at our house. I just started flipping through the pages of Fleur De Force’s new book called The Glam Guide and I am loving her overflow of style and beauty tips. We are elbows-deep in potty training at the Watkins household, so my eyes instantly went to The Potty Rocker, and I can't wait to do this Fall Scavenger Hunt with Ryan – such a great idea!
