What I’m Wearing || Fall Dresses, Ponchos, and Anything Plaid
It seems to be a consistency going on in my closet these days and it involves swing dresses, ponchos and cardigans, and plaid. Dress these up OR down and they suit a variety of occasions during fall and they wear well and still allow me to look “put together” too. I just bought this printed cardigan and it’s going to be a constant wardrobe staple over the next few months. I’m also into any and all tshirt dresses [via here] as of late and I am assembling quite a colorful selection to choose from. And I just added this snug cardigan to my closet because I am constantly cold and it has winter layering written all over it.
What I’m Watching || Homeland Season 5
Jeff and I are glued to the TV Sunday nights now that Homeland is back… I’m loving this season already and the plot keeps twisting and turning so it keeps you guessing to see what’s going to happen next. And of course, Quinn isn’t too bad on the eyes either.
What I’m Loving || Relaxed “Workwear”
What I’m Wanting || More Time to Take it Easy
It’s been a whirlwind of coming and going at our house the last month and it’s only about to get even more hectic in November as Christmas Village approaches and Jeff has more travel for work. With that, I am really trying to focus on my to-do list each and everyday and prioritizing so that I can be most effective with my time and only focus on the “musts”… and yes, that’s hard to do as a total Type A person and someone who juggles way too much. So cheers to trying to knock out what I can [using these notebooks as help] and savoring the season, yet still finding time for some R&R too.
What did you love || read || want || eat || watch || or where in October??
That water bottle though….
I LOVED The Paris Wife too! It made me want to read more Ernest Hemingway. I had to stop reading The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. In theory there are some good ideas, but with kids a lot just didn't seem realistic. And some suggestions I just didn't agree with (mainly how to sort through papers). I'll be interested to hear your thoughts!
