It’s been a whirlwind of fun, family, craziness, all the such these days in our world… and I’m sure your holidays are just as insane, right?!?! That’s what makes life so incredible though, and I want to be better about documenting all the goodness we are getting to do together, just so I can always have this documented, as we know life gets hectic and mama’s forget the details from time to time.
Roxie the Elf came back to play starting December 1st… she’s been up to lots of mischief and mayhem but the girls get so excited to see what she’s been up to when they wake up in the mornings!
We attended the festive princess party for our friends Mary Hayes, Kate, and Luke a few Fridays ago, to which the girls had a ball! They got to make their own crowns, take home a Ring Pop, and play with all the lords and ladies during the party… too sweet!
That was also the day where I got my first speeding ticket in more than 10 years… yeah, not cool, not fun. Cannot wait to go to driving school next month… womp womp.
That night, we headed out to dinner with the Turners and the Woodcocks downtown at
Union Common… if you go there, you MUST try the Cheesecake Beignets for dessert… they were so good we ordered 3 of them! And yes, no adult night out is complete without a crazy game of Cards Against Humanity. Let’s just be honest and say I fele like death the next day.
The rest of the weekend, we had the Bella family over for a fun Saturday night dinner and playdates, and then Jeff and I met some of his clients at the Titans game that Sunday to go watch the game… needless to say, we must have been good luck because we finally won a game!! We then met Mimi and Pappy out for pizza because the girls were itching to see them… family dinner at its best.
Monday rolled around and we had our dynamic playdate mafia friends over for a holiday PJ party! I made my famous
Breakfast Casserole and Brie Bites and us mamas were fully stocked on all the champs… happy kids = happy moms!
Last Friday, Mimi and I took the girls to the mall to meet Santa Claus… one of my favorite things to do during the holidays is getting the girls all dressed up in their matching smocked dresses, curl their hair [yes, they insist on this for fancy occasions now just like Mommy], and then we got to listen to them tell St. Nick all the goodies they are wishing for this year… and of course, no mall visit is complete without a stop to the American Girl store and Chick-Fil-A for lunch!
Looks like a great time!
