I always love going through my blog posts from each year and doing a round-up of my favorites… a way to look back and remember what we had going on, celebratory events, vacations and travel, and anything else that made that specific year memorable. Here is a look back at 2015 [in no particular order of course]:
1.
Caroline’s Big Girl Room Debut || This was a huge milestone for us, as we said goodbye to Caroline’s nursery and revamped the space for all things “big girl”. From the get go, I told our designer Kendall that I wanted classic feminine style that could grow with her, that we needed to incorporate color and fun details, and something purely sweet for our CC. The end result was better than I could’ve fathomed, and it’s still my favorite room in the house!
2.
Skiing into 30 Friends Trip || For our first trip of the year, we headed out west to Colorado to ski for the weekend in celebration of our friend Nick’s 30th birthday… it was an absolute blast and we had a ball with our best friends! Another reason to partake in fun with your nearest and dearest and celebrate getting older, wiser, and still able to do what we love.
3.
50 Creative Blog Post Ideas || I think this was one of your favorite posts from this past year, just as it was mine. Content can get a bit redundant in the land of blogging, and I think this gave some new, fresh perspectives and advice for creative content when you’re having a mind block and can’t think of anything for yourself. And yes, I think I need to revisit this ASAP to kick-off some new post topics, too.
4.
Fall Style with Opry Mills for Under $200 || Shopping in Nashville can be overwhelming, time consuming, and expensive, but I was so excited for the opportunity to partner with Opry Mills to show off an entire look for under $200. And of course getting to play dress up and take pics with my dear
Tausha Dickinson was just icing on the cake.
5.
Carson’s Wizard of Oz Birthday Party Recap || For a girl who loves everything Wizard of Oz, only a birthday party full of everything from Munchkinland would do! I loved being able to create such fun, original ideas to spoil our little princess silly, and the day turned out perfectly. Yes, this party planning loving mama gets so excited when it comes time for the girls’ birthdays… go big or go home!
6.
Hola Miami: Adult Vacay Rewind and Recap || What summer is complete without a visit somewhere warm and fun? We jetted off to Miami in September and it was a whirlwind weekend full of the best food, drink, and company we could’ve asked for. Ahhhh… can we please go back??
7.
Behind the Scenes and Home Office Action of Sugar Bit || I loved getting to share a bit of the activities when it comes to running my business, and of course showing off my fabulous home office, too! It’s not easy, but it’s a career I love 110% and it doesn’t feel like work to me. Oh and this just gets me giddy for the spring 2016 collection coming, too!
8.
Caroline’s House of Pancakes Party Rewind || Did someone say pajama time? Yes, this was a brilliant party theme if I do say so myself and I loved every single detail… especially getting to make the food everything for breakfast and brunch! It was a big hit and the color scheme was one of my favorites to date.
9.
Fall Family Portraits with Michelle Grace || I think you can see why this was one of my top posts this past year. It’s been a whirlwind of a jam-packed, insanely busy year, but I am so thankful we took the time to get these portraits taken of our little foursome. This season of life is an absolute joy and I am so happy we’ll get to hang these prints in our forever home, and cherish these days when we walk by each day.
10. Rosemary Beach Rewind: Days 1-2, 3-5, and 6-7 || And finally last, but certainly by no means least, is our annual Rosemary Beach family vacation… we savor this family time so much so that I might start a countdown WAY before it’s even time to think about our beach trip. We’re already set for this next year’s adventure to our family friendly beach getaway!
