ALL girls love some sparkly little finds, and my friends at JTV Diamonds have partnered up with me today in celebration of the month of diamonds to help gift some baubles to one very special reader, too.

For me, that girl is my best friend Meg. I would love to give my best friend a pair of these earrings because my best friend does so much for other people on a daily basis. She was the maid of honor in my wedding, and shortly after moved to South Sudan to help work with the refugees and internally displaced people in an area that is extremely dangerous and is only able to come back to the states for short visits twice a year. It would be amazing to win! I mistakenly told my hubs I wasn't a jewelry person (long ago), so chances are slim that diamonds are in my future haha. I would also LOVE to spoil my best friend Laura because she's an incredible support system and I am blessed to have her in my life. When I lost my Dad a few years ago I had to fly back home directly from Mexico to NY with a small layover in Charlotte. She was dog sitting for me at the time. She actually found out my layover schedule and met me in the airport with my dog Bindi in tow! Best friends are more than….well more than words really! Sometimes they come from the most surprising places….my family and I are currently preparing for a move and while that brings new exciting things it's heartbreaking to face leaving the most perfect friend…yes we will still have our daily therapy sessions together via phone…but starbucks and trips and watching the kiddos play and dance together will be so so missed…So win or not I think a pair of these will be on this special persons ears so she will always remember that I'm there to listen even if I'm not close enough to give her a hug….

I would love to win these earrings and I NEED to win these because I'm a mom. I love being a mom! I have the most fantastic job in the world. But as you know, mommies always come last. We eat last, shower last, get dressed last. We're the last ones to bed at night l and the first ones up in the morning. I have two amazing boys that can destroy a room in 30 seconds flat. I don't even attempt to clean while they're awake. I spend most days in workout clothes but rarely get a "traditional" workout (chasing my boys burned plenty of calories) I wouldn't trade my children for anything but sometimes mommy NEED to feel pretty and receive pretty things!
