A long holiday weekend… ahhhh, just what we needed!! Can you believe summer is already half over?!?!?! Cue the waterworks for this warm loving woman… anyways, here is a little sneak peak back at the Independence Day weekend that made for three oh so fun days and nights.
Our friends Andrea and Ben throw a 4th of July party every year, and it’s something we ALL look forward to… so much food, amazing cocktails, special celebrations and this year they rented a snow cone machine to top things off = genius! They always know how to make things extra patriotic, even hiring two babysitters so we could have some adult swim sessions, too. Smart trick, right?!?! Though our party celebrations sure have changed with the addition of all the little ones, it’s amazing to see our friendships grow and flourish as we all enter this new season of life… cheers to that!
these ladies have my heart
ready to jump in!
red, white and blue smores??? oh yeah
my little fam… all ready to celebrate with Uncle Sam
the car ride home = wipeout! the signs of a successful party đ
On Sunday, the girls went to stay with Mimi and Pap and Jeff and I and some of our besties headed up to Tim’s Ford Lake to continue the celebrations on the water… food, fireworks, homemade fruit lemonade cocktails, and plenty of fun in the sun = perfection!
all is calm on the lake…. some much needed R&R
another new Kortni Jeane swimmer… mama needed to color coordinate for her favorite holiday
Once we came home, I couldn’t wait to scoop up my little cutie pies… Kara is off this week visiting her family in California, so I am getting to spoil these sisters like crazy! I can’t lie, as much fun as we had, I couldn’t wait to get home to these sweet faces. Such a fun 4th of July… hope you had a fun one, too!
the girls dresses are some of their newest favs… of course from Sugar Bit and now just $22
Summer is half over? The first day was June 20! LOL
this is true… however, it makes me sad that it seems like summer months are coming and going so quickly!!!!
