ONE. Our Thanksgiving Weekend Recap
Umm yep… not one family picture was taken on turkey day… way to go Natasha!! Although I guess that’s a good sign, seeing as my phone was MIA for the event, showing that we had a grand time with our family, eating away, playing bingo and cornhole all afternoon, and spending time with loved ones. A girl can’t complain about a day like that!!
P.S. I made my oh so famous
Sweet Potato Casserole and
Easy Apple Cobbler … two goodies perfect for all things Thanksgiving if you’re looking for some yummy and travel-friendly food options during the holidays.
Mimi and I had our annual Black Friday shopping adventure and were successful in stocking up on so many goodies for the girls as well as a few new items we’d been eyeing for ourselves, too. Saturday, the girls and I tackled some small business shopping for teacher gifts and then visited the Salvation Army Angel Tree to select our two angels to shop for… one of our most beloved family holiday traditions for sure!! Hope your long holiday weekend was just as wonderful…

TWO. Wrapping Wonderland
You know those people that go overboard when it comes to package decorating and such, yeah that would be me… I blame you Mimi! We always have to have a color palette and this year I decided against my original plan of navy and opted for black, pink, white, red, mint, and gold… again, Target nailed it again so it was a MUST in my book. Here are a few wrapping essentials I scooped up and I’m starting my wrapping this week so I won’t get overwhelmed with what all needs to be nestled under the tree.
THREE. Roxie is Back…
Confession: I’m the parent that loathes when the
Elf on the Shelf comes back and everyone’s IG posts are of their creative, messy, and oh so elaborate Elf daily drop-ins. However, I’m not a Grinch so we participate too, though I might be the one running around every morning trying to think of some crazy idea of how Roxie can surprise the girls before they up. Thank goodness she only stays from December 1 through 24 and then we can say goodbye until next year!
FOUR. Holiday Pajamas
Some of my favorite holiday traditions and memories include matching festive jammies for little ones… I am SO excited to help co-host a fun holiday pajama link-up with these fabulous bloggers on December 15th!! Be sure to check out some of these favorites and get your little reindeer ready for show and tell so we can see their sweetness, too.
FIVE. Enough for Everyone
I posted this image on Instagram earlier this week and I had so much feedback and positivity coming back that I felt the need to post again… we all need to actively support and encourage others and I believe now is as good a time as any!! You can find more of my
Favorite Quotables via Pinterest.

i love that quote 🙂 so true! xo jillian – cornflake dreams
You're not the only one, Natasha, amidst all that pigging out, we forgot to take pictures too. Like that one time, not too long ago, when we forgot to buy candy for Halloween? Yeah.
I absolutely love that quote!
