Two weeks in a row?!?!?! I’m loving being back to my old ways for a little Five on Friday action:

Five on Friday #1: Winter Wonderland

If you couldn’t tell from my Instagram pics all week, it’s been endless amounts of SNOW SNOW SNOW here in Tennessee. And yes, it’s been FUN but it’s also been a ton of cabin fever… goodness we are ready for it to melt and get back to our normal schedule and I have a feeling we aren’t the only ones!! BUT, these are the fun memories I know my girls will treasure… waking up to snow falling, sledding through the neighborhood, making snowmen, eating homemade snow cream–the good stuff!!! Family fun under one roof at its best 😉

Five on Friday #2: Work it Out… What do you Want to See???

Five on Friday #3: Denim on Sale

If there is one thing I loathe shopping for [other than swimwear], it’s jeans… you feel me?!?! You’ve got to be in one of those moods to try on endless amounts of options and be ready to buy multiples once you find your go-to style and brand. Thnkfully, my friends at Evereve are having a major denim sale where ANY and ALL of their jeans are on sale [praise hands, right?!?!]. Here are some of my favorites from one of my go-to stores, with specific details on each from personal experience:

Articles of Society–Stephanie Skinny Step Hem | I have these in two colors and LOVE them… just the right amount of stretch so size down. The fun hem detail at the bottom is great for wearing with booties, sandals and heels, especially for us petite girls who aren’t on the taller side [I’m 5’4″ for reference]. Only $57 on sale too so they are a great option if you want to venture out of your comfort zone without breaking the budget!

Paige Denim–Hoxton Ultra Skinny | When I splurge on a great pair of jeans, it’s always by Paige Denim. They are THE best in terms of fit, quality and style and let’s not talk about how many pair I currently have in my closet [haha]. The Ultra Skinny silhouette is great paired with over the knee boots, and I love the ultra dark coloring of this specific style. They run TTS so be sure to grab your normal size!

BlankNYC Sound Check Overalls | Now these are the only item I’m highlighting that I don’t personally own YET, but I am for sure buying… overalls are making a big comeback this year and it’s bringing back my glorious middle and high school years all over again. Paired with a classic white tee and sneakers = perfection! And the small bit of distressing is just the right amount of “edge”.

Articles of Society–Sarah Raw Hem Skinny | If you’re on the hunt for destructed black jeans, then look no further. I have these in a size 25 and they are FANTASTIC… great quality for the price, now just $54 during the sale, and I wear them at least once a week. Even better, they wash well and I’ve had success putting them in the dryer so that’s another laundry win for this mama!! Runs a little large so size down on these as well 🙂

BlankNYC Box Fresh Boyfriend Short | It’s NEVER too early to start shopping for the essential jean shorts for spring and these check off all the boxes for me. They aren’t too short [which is surprisingly hard to find] and I love the cut-off style paired with casual tshirts and spring sweaters for an easy everyday ensemble. Only $67 = yay! They also run on the bigger size so I sized down FYI.

Five on Friday #4: Weekend Plans

The family who plays together stays together… it’s going to be a weekend of playing catchup and running our normal errands, which I am kind of excited about! Anything to get out of the house right?!?! We are headed to one of Caroline’s classmates birthday parties, taking a little trip downtown to the Nashville Boat Show, going to church and then of course knocking out the grocery store for major meal planning and execution.
