Five on Friday #1: CHOPT Comes to Nashville
Way back when I lived in NYC in 2005, I was OBSESSED with restaurants with create-your-own-salad bowls and dreamed of the days when one would finally come to Nashville… well, this week my wish came true with the grand opening of Chopt right down the street from our house in Brentwood. We went for the media preview party on Tuesday night and I was totally impressed–so many amazing options, both for adults and kids, and I love how much thought they put into everything they do. I tried the Chicken Tinga and if you like spicy food, you’re going to love it too… anyways, a great alternative for the traditional fast casual and my girls were big fans as well!
Five on Friday #2: a Little Headband Love
Ya’ll know this girl LOVES her some headbands… after recent IG stories where I am sporting these colorful hair accessories practically everyday, I thought it only necessary to share a few of my recent favorite finds with you, too. It totally makes you look (and feel) a little more put-together, even when your tired eyes say otherwise–haha.
Scarf Print Headband | Knotted Chiffon Headband [comes in 4 colors] | Multi Top Knot Headband [on sale for $9] | Stripe Headband | Top Knot Headband [2 for $20] | Wildflower Headband | Rose Knotted Headband | Twisted Vines Headband | Silky Knot Headband
Five on Friday #3: Justin Timberlake Can Do No Wrong
Anybody out there going crazy on repeat for the new JT album?? I downloaded it on release day and haven’t really listened to anything else since… still loving the new single Say Something with Chris Stapleton and it’s amazing to see how different this is from any of his other albums… I’m also digging “Flannel”. Now if I can just find a way to make it to his Nashville concert, this gal will be good to go!
Five on Friday #4: 100 Days of Kindergarten
This Wednesday, we celebrated the milestone of Caroline’s 100th day of school with a huge celebration! I absolutely love that our elementary school goes ALL out to commemorate these special occasions and you know Mimi and I wanted to make sure our little lady was all set to dress up as a 100-year old. Amazon and Party City came through yet again, complete with a cane, silver hairspray, glasses, and floral shower cap 😉
Five on Friday #5: Time for a Little Q&A
It’s been a LONG time coming… I’ve had tons of emails, DMs, comments and the such of you –my faithful folloowers and friends–asking tons of questions and I think it’s due time for a proper Question and Answer type post… so this is where YOU come in! Comment below with your questions you’d like me to answer and I will assemble into one big post to go live next week. You know I am an open book and I love these types of posts because it’s a way for you to learn more about the gal behind the blog! If you’d rather, you can always email me at natashamassey@gmail.com.
I love Chop’t! I wish there was one closer to my house–I’d eat there all the time!
Hi! …would love to know how long it takes you and the kids to get out the door on a school morning? Also, how many hours of sleep do you need to function? It seems like you do so much, idk how you fit it all into 24 hours!!
will be answering!!!
I’d love to have a deep / serious question thrown in the mix! something more beneath the surface like , what’s been your hardest struggle you’ve had to overcome? How has faith played a part in your life? What’s been the hardest thing about being an entrepreneur? The greatest marriage advice you could recommend? Some questions to help share another side of you that your readers may not have known before!
happy to answer!!!!! love those actually
