OK, you’ve been asking for MONTHS and I am finally delivering on my promise to bring you my 5-minute makeup tutorial… on most days, these are the specific products and beauty favorites I use for this face!
As a gal on the go [with two businesses to run, two kids to get ready and a home renovation thrown into the mix for good measure—a busy life is a good life right!?!], time is of the essence each morning so this is my step-by-step process of what I do.
I’ve included links for everything below AND a permanent drop-down page seen on my main site navigation for easy reference and shopping!
As always, I am happy to answer any questions you guys have for me… just like I prefaced in the video, I am by NO means a professional vlog guru or beauty professional, these are simply the items I LOVE and have in my personal product stash at home.
Hope this helps streamline your mornings and shows you 5 minutes can go a long way!!
The Base Layer
Maybelline Master Prime Primer | color correcting, under $10, and great staying power
iT Cosmetics CC Cream | I use shade “Medium” since I routinely get spray tans… hands down, this is the BEST CC cream I’ve ever tried… it stays put ALL day [even after workout sessions] and I apply it with the iT cosmetics brush that helps make sure the application goes over smoothly
Becca Sunlit Bronzer | I recently made the switch to this bronzer and love it!! Great coverage, the perfect warm hue for that sun-kissed glow and a little goes a long way. I apply using this Oval 10 Artis Brush [yes, these are an investment, but I’ve had mine for a few years now and still use them daily so they are worth it]
Cheeks + Eyes + Lips
Smashbox LA Lights Stick Blush | I use the Beverly Hills color, which is a bright posey pink and it stays put once applied. Even better, you can also use it as a lipstick as well… I then blend it with this XXXXXX brush
Stila Heaven’s Hue Highlighter | The shade I use is Transcendence, which is a purple undertoned highlighter and apply it to the apple of my cheeks for that all over glow/dewy finish
Stila Waterproof Eyeliner | Shade Damsel: this eyeliner lasts ALL day long!! I love the dark brown color so it’s not as harsh as black and it’s easy to apply for people like me that despise liquid.
MAC Paint Pots [ Indianwood and Bare Study] | The easiest eyeshadow out there when you’re in a hurry… they stay and no primer is needed! I use the darker shade on my lid and then the lighter tone right under my eyebrows for a little lighter color to brighten
Anastasia Brow Definer in Blonde | My favorite brow pen… EVER. The angled tip makes it fool proof to apply and it gives full coverage, while still giving you the ability to apply as much or as little as you need
Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel in Blonde | Easy to apply and it fills in to create full, thick brows
Estee Lauder Sumptuous Mascara | Consistently on my favorite things list, this mascara not only lengthens, but multiples and fills in the gaps! There is NEVER a day when you won’t find me wearing this mascara… it’s a MUST!
Bare Minerals Moxie Gloss in Rebel | My go-to pink gloss that plumps… a bit of sheen and a touch of light pink color and it goes with everything!
Let me know what you thought… and what else you’re wanting to see via video on the blog!!!
