Hey friends–I know this all new series of blog posts is going to make a TON of you happy, as I have been anxiously waiting to share these images and the final product of our home renovation with you all!! I can’t believe it’s been a year since we moved out and got the show started, but I wouldn’t change this process, as our “new” home has already brought so much joy and happiness for our family and it truly feels like us now.
With that, I want to give a HUGE shout out to our incredible interior designer, Kendall Simmons. We have worked with her for more than four years now and she never disappoints. She truly went above and beyond to make our home special and totally fit our needs and wants and our home definitely says HAPPY–packed with color everywhere, all because of her attention to detail and knowing the look we were going for!
I get asked all the time how others can utilize Kendall Simmons’ services, and yes, she offers e-design for you out-of-towners and you can learn more about that on her website here.
P.S. use discount code NASHTASH20 to take 20% off custom e-design services [valid for first 50 people to use the code].
So without further adieu, here is our beautiful family room designed by Kendall Simmons…

I’ll be honest… sometimes I don’t feel like this is my home. Like it’s almost too pretty to be real, but to me, it totally speaks volumes as to how patiently we waited until our girls were a bit older and really lived in our house for a few years before we decided to completely make it match our personalities. The biggest compliment to me is when someone comes in and says “this is totally you”–job well done and the most colorful, happiest home on the block! For me, the wait was completely worth it and I couldn’t be more thankful I get to come home to this slice of heaven every single day.
