Caroline and Carson were over-the-moon excited to open up their fancy new Mini Boden Harry Potter collection digs from this limited-edition collection and they’re taking over the blog today to share their favorite pieces from this incredible collaboration. They’ve been watching Harry Potter movies with their daddy and I recently [hands down their fav so far is The Prisoner of Azkaban], so they jumped at the chance to get to grab some of these wearables.
First up, the big second grader herself, Miss Caroline Cate. My girl went GAGA over the Sequin Seeker Dress and the color palette is right up her alley! Harry’s lucky number 07 is bedazzled in bright gold sequins, and she loves the fun contrasting print on this skater-style silhouette with the fit and flare skirt made for twirling. The top features a super-soft jersey knit [perfect for school days and weekend wearing, too] and the jaquard skirt is college prep inspired with the house of Gryffindor red and gold stripes!
And of course, my little fashionista couldn’t wait to put on these magical Gold Sequin High Tops! The sequins makes these sneakers even more special and she loves that they have both a zipper AND laces= the perfect two in one style for Hogwarts school.
As for my other little secret sorcerer, Carson says “more is more”–just like me! The yellow striped Hufflepuff Breton Shirt is full of color [oh-so-soft and made of 100% cotton] and she loves it paired with the Hippogriff Tulle Skirt with its light blue layers + gold shimmer waistband, while it makes this mama happy because it’s also machine washable. She also added this Midnight Blue Bomber Jacket with it’s spellbinding glitter detail + zip-up front, which makes for the essential fall jacket in our house.
Finally, she finished up her look with none other than these Fun Tan Leopard Low Tops. The perfect statement shoe for everyday adventures and then some… spotty canvas lining plus a bit of sparkle and shine = now if only I had a magic wand to make these my size!
