You may think of this is a new accessory to the home design world, yet low and behold the beloved ginger jars have been used for centuries as a storage receptacle for… yep, you guessed it, spices like salt and ginger. The vessels then became known as “ginger jars” — crazy how these accessories not only served a purpose, but also bring lots of beauty to any space they occupy. You guys have been asking for loads more home decor content and I assure you I am happy to oblige because it’s something I find so therapetuic and comforting, making your home fun and filled with character.
The first place we introduced ginger jars to was our formal dining room way back in 2016 and it’s safe we’ve been integrating them into other rooms throughout our home ever since. One thing I love about this curated collection is that Kendall found them from a local antique shop called Gas Light Antiques so the sentimental value of these pretties is real. They are the perfect size, grouped in 5 different sizes/shapes/styles and it’s classically elegant in the first space you see when you walk in our home.

So, a few weeks ago I came on stories asking for your best advice on where to find some new ginger jars for our little beach abode Ro Sham Beaux at Rosemary Beach. You guys were SO helpful in unearthing some new-to-me shops and I cannot wait to show you what I scooped up from Lauren Haskell Designs!!
