Usher said it best… these are my confessions!!
If that doesn’t give away my age, then this post will–instead of crazy trends I’m talking about my love affair of coffee table books. Gosh, my 20-year old self is probably laughing at me right now = oh goodness my how times have changed. Instead of splurging on a cute pair of platform heels, here I am perusing my favorite sites + shops for new coffee table reads and new mugs for my daily caffeine addiction = see, my real life isn’t all that glamorous after all.
I keep finding random things within my house that I seemingly now collect… I never thought of myself as a collector of anything, but I guess I am since I am now a connoisseur of coffee mugs, candles AND coffee table books. At least you know when you visit my abode, you’ll always get a warm cup of coffee, have plenty of things to read and it will smell good. Little wins, y’all = we celebrate it all.

A new found focus on home decor and design has been something I’ve wanted to share with you all for so long. Not only are we renovating our sweet little beach bungalow, but I’m always trying to refresh spaces throughout our house to keep them current, and of course filled with color for added inspriation. That’s where my obsession with coffee table books comes into play. They are simple, yet stylish and a way to incorporate color to an otherwise neutral color palette.

One of my favorite ways to decorate is to use coffee table books to brighten up a vignette on a table or to show off some of the things we love to look at… a semi-inexpensive way to add large scale pieces to a space without spending crazy amounts of money on original art and they can work their magic in any room! So, here are a few tips on how to easily style your beloved books:
And of course I couldn’t leave without assembling a stellar lineup [if I do say so myself] of some fantasticly fun books to add to your abode ASAP:
