Out of Office… Spring Break Edition

It’s going to be fairly quiet over here in my slice of life on the blog after today because Spring Break officially starts at 5PM TONIGHT! Yep, I will be putting on my out-of-office assistant via work emails for the next week so that I can take off and savor some much needed rest + relaxation with the kids, Jeff and of course Mimi and Pappy, too. Granted, I know I have been at the beach fairly frequently as we wrapped up the Ro Sham Beaux renovation, but I never actually stepped on the beach once = sad, right?? Don’t worry, I plan to remedy that VERY quickly this go-around and wear some fun Spring Break outfits in the process!

Spring Break Outfits

Starting things off, to get me in the proper mindset to bid adieu to our normal daily hustle, I thought it was only fitting to scoop up this Audrey Vacay TShirt Dress. Speaking my love language by way of the comfiest jersey fabric number that is ready to leave home sweet home ASAP. I’m wearing a size small for reference! I then topped it off with the world’s best denim jacket that I’ve had for FOUR years and counting… you know, that kind that gets better with each wash??? A staple that will forever occupy my closet each season. Finally, I scooped up these all new two-tone Evita Sneakers and I LOVE the platform canvas + rubber combo on these beauties. Super cofy with frayed edge for a hint of destruction, they are made in Brazil and a savvy spring style for under $100.

With that, I thought it would be helpful to share my packing list for the week’s beachside festivities and show off some new arrivals making their way to 30a when we go wheels up Sunday morning! And yes, because I am the type-A person who needs a list for anything and everything, feel free to use this for your trips + getaways, too:

Moving down the line, let’s talk about spring sandals that have been occupying my mind… thank goodness the necessary pedicure has been checked off the list already so my toes are ready to debut some new pretties while at the beach [also be sure to check details below because I have discount codes for a lot of these]–and yes, I am well aware I have a shoe addiction… it runs in the family:

Another essential outfit? The pants that feel like pajamas with the classic white tshirt that goes with everything… otherwise known as my travel attire of choice! Let’s not forget about the jelly sandals I showed off above… so nice I have them in two colors #oops.

Ready for the beach bag essentials and everything you actually need to take on the surf and sand??? I’ve got you covered on that front as well. Now to chat about things that need to be contained inside the bag… first off, no beach routine is complete without applying that sunscreen and SunBum is always a family favorite because of the power + smell is amazing, too.
