Now I may be out of town for a bit of work this week, but you didn’t think I’d go and forget to chat up all things RED, WHITE AND BLUE since America’s birthday is fast approaching did you??? You know me better than that. So today I’m sharing my favorite 4th of July outfits!
4th of July Outfits
Like I need a reason to get decked out in any sort of patriotic pretties… but alas, I think it’s high time for some independent-worthy festivity in our lives for July 4th! Every holiday is one to celebrate and Independence Day is no exception to that rule. Bring on the fireworks, hot dogs and hamburgers, and of course the cute and colorful attire + accessories so you can show just how much you love the USA.
First up, this all new Navy + White Flutter Sleeve Ric Rac Dress by way from my ladies at Sail to Sable. Ohhh this one is dflirty for the fourth I assure you… preppy meets practical with all the bells + whistles to boot! The perfect dress for beachside cocktails or a nautical summer celebration… but it’s the details that got me instantly.
Want something more on the casual side of life for your backyard get-together and BBQ cookout?? Yep, I’ve got that one for you too! This cute + comfy Oh My Stars Tee is soooo comfy with just the right amount of graphic detail and it’s only $24 to boot. If you want a bit of a larger oversized fit, be sure to size up [I’m wearing an XS for reference] and then for the Terry Striped Shorts to match, these are great for lake lounging but also cute enough for your everyday attire AND the price of $20 gives you budget savvy friends something to smile big about [run TTS/wearing XS].
Stripes say it best… whatever the occasion and this Red Stripe Ruffle Tee is just what summer is about = a classic staple that’s super soft for warm weather AND under $25. It has just a little bit of added flair to make it anything but ordinary, just like the High Rise Frayed Hem Shorts. With just a bit of stretch, they’ll keep their shape all day long and I love the 4″ inseam with ripped detailing and medium sandblasted wash. These also run TTS and I am wearing a size 25, though if you want a looser, more relaxed fit I’d size up!
Finally, no summer assortment would be complete without a bit of tye dye, but this time in the classic colors perfect for the 4th of July! This Americana Tie Dye Pullover is ALL THE COZY + SOFTNESS for summer rolled into one casual sweater style. It’s lightweight and versatile, perfect for a late afternoon boat ride [ohhh I’m counting down already] and will take you straight into fireside smore sessions as well.
And just for good measure, otherwsise known as the cherry on top of one of my favorite seasonal posts, here are 20 MORE celebratory finds–from accessories to drinkware to bags and more… hip hip hooray for the USA!
