Ingredients for your Sausage and Rosemary Casserole
- 1 pound sausage [I use Tennessee Pride Sage variety]
- 1 package crescent sheet dough
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 5 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Directions to Make the Casserole
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Place a skillet over medium heat and add sausage… break up the sausage as it cooks, letting it brown completely
- Unroll crescent dough and spread out in the bottom of a 9×13 pan and then spread the sausage over the dough and then top with cheddar cheese
- In a medium bowl, whisk eggs with the milk, rosemary, salt, and pepper… then pour egg mixture over the top of the casserole
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and the eggs are set
